i have the red one with comfort seat its a blast. Got it used. new condition. i jb welded the steering ring and metal taped it. then plumbers clamp on the ring and upper part to hold the till from loosening. it worked, finally got that thing from loosening and it probably better for the steering bar. i adjusted the front wheels to straight they were a bit towed in creating odd steering movements as the rear wheels have a tow out flair. it worked it made it more stable and a bit quicker. i zip tied a small box board box over the rear fender area and put layer of foam cushion underneath. it quieted down the fender noises when you ride, some towns have a lot of uneven surfaces on road and sidewalk.
I see that the battery is "bolted" down ... is there an easy method of battery removal? I need to remove the battery before lifting it! The scooter seems to be very useful, but the weight of 62lbs (a little over 28kgs) is a bit heavy for me to lift (dead-lift) up 3 feet! It'd also be handy to have the battery removed for easier access to charging!! Another question ... does it go off-road at all?
Just to let you know, we no longer carry this unit and to answer your questions, the battery is not easily removed since it does have to be unbolted. Does it go off-road, the unit would go off-road but not advised if going into mud, soft loose dirt or tall grass.
I'd like to comment again. You mention that you can adjust the tiller so that it's a bit closer or farther away, but I noticed that there is quite a bit of play in the tiller while you were demoing it. Can that not be tightened. Right now, I'm trying to get my insurance company to OK the purchase. It's perfect for around the house as the rear wheels have a shorter wheel to wheel distance which allows me to go from room to room without banging into anything as I pass. The front wheels are farther apart, which allows me to see where I'm entering a doorway allowing me to maneuver easier. In other words, it's easier when you see where you are going as opposed to the back end where you can't. I meant ask also. There is no speedometer or odometer. Is that an option?
That looks awesome, but why air filled tires in the front. Where I live we are plagued with goat heads. I would hate to have to repair one of those tires.
I don't have an answer as to why pneumatic tires on the unit, that would be a question for ComfyGo. It's not bad to change a tube in the tire, just like a bike tire.
@@Marcsmobilityit’s not so much the air tires, but the price. I’m looking at e-trikes for around $1500. They at least go around 14mph. I wouldn’t mind a mobility scooter for around that price, but most of them go a piddly 4-5 mph. I want one for grocery shopping , but I don’t want it to be a day trip, if you know what I mean.
That's understandable for e-trikes, they are a tricycle and not a mobility scooter and that's why they are a faster speed and cheaper. Their focused on able bodied people getting around and not people with mobility issues or disabilities.
I understand Sue, I (Adam) am disabled paralyzed from the waist down and in a manual wheelchair so I get it cause I deal with it too. Anything medical has a higher price tag. We don't make up the prices we sell the units at, the manufacturer does so we have no control over that.
Yes you can, This throttle is like a gas pedal, if you want to go as fast as it will go you press it down all the way. If you don't want to go as fast, press it down a little.
There is a 10Ah battery that is airline approved. You can find it on our website. Here is the link, just look at the battery drop down menu to see the 10Ah battery. marcsmobility.com/ms-3000-foldable-mobility-scooter.html
We can get you one for this MS-3000. Did you have the 10A battery or the 15.6A battery? The 10A battery would be $249 and the 15.6A battery would be $349. Give us a call at 800-677-6293 and we will be able to order one and get it out to you.

Glad you got the steering fixed!
Thats incredibly fast, i love it! ❤
Wow that's super fast
I just set mine up yesterday. I really like it!
Great to hear!
Will it take inclines of 8 degrees?
Yes, it is stated the unit's max incline is 12 degrees
I was wondering if you have any information about taking the scooter on an airplane for traveling?
If you get the airline approved 10A battery then you would be able to take it on the plane
@@Marcsmobility My scooter has the 15.6Ah Battery will that be ok for an airplane?
So that one is not airline approved. Any lithium battery needs to be 12A or under.
@@Marcsmobility That's bad news for me to hear. Do you know if I would be able to use my scooter on an Amtrak Train?
I don't see why you wouldn't. You may want to contact Amtrak first just to make sure.

Curious how it is on terrain/grass/going up on a curb...
It would be able to go through manicured lawns, gravel, compact dirt but would not be able to jump curbs

Beings its a foldable model, it will have a little play in the tiller

Can I go slower than 4 mph for grocery shopping? Thanks. It’s purdy. Great video!

Does this handle inclines of 8 degrees?
Its max slope is 12 degrees of incline so yes it would handle an incline of 8 degrees
Also, is there a battery that I can fly with?

Is it made in uk alsocost.
ComfyGo is not made in the UK

It does not come with a swivel seat and they don't make a swivel seat for this particular scooter
I like to know how much is it how much it cost
Sorry but we no longer sell this model of scooter.
Where can I get a battery

I need manual brake and swivell seat
What purpose are you wanting a manual brake instead of an electromagnetic brake?
It will be a better scooter with swivell seat
I agree with you but no where to mount a swivel seat the way the seat mount and bracket is.
