I’ve had a golden Eagle for a little over a year. It goes just about anywhere you want to go and I can still go grocery shopping or into big box stores. I have almost 2000 miles on it . I did upgrade the batteries to the75 amp hour batteries because I wasn’t quite getting the range I wanted with the 55 amp hour batteries. I live in Ontario Canada and rode many days of the winter as well.
I have a new purcute scooter and I had to get rid of the lithem batteries. It would not charge at all and had NO power . After being on the charger for 4 days it would not charge. I finally had the scooter changed back to Agm batteries and now it is great.
Thanks for mentioning the weight capacity of most of these devices. When you have a history of using tools that were not designed for BIG and heavy passengers it’s a relief to know that there’s a manufacturer who thinks of these things.👍
You can have one of the front of the Wrangler 2. it comes with a mount to mount to the front of the tiller which once mounted, you can mount the basket onto the mount and be good to go.
Speaking of manufacturers that overrate their scooters clearance…Pride says the clearance is 4.45” but if you look further on the specs you find out it’s really only 1.57.” False advertising, and really ridiculous to make it as an outdoor scooter with only a 1.57” ground clearance! And, Alex, this was an excellent video. Well done!❤
I will pass this onto Alex and let him know the kind words from you. As far as the clearance, I wouldn't say false advertisement cause they are indeed letting you know the height the ground clearance is. Most companies will give you the ground clearance at the deck but then tell you the ground clearance at the motor or the lowest part of the unit. I do wish they made the unit a little taller for the ground clearance.
Hi, thanks so much for the videos. They are extremely helpful. Looking for a scooter for an elderly parent and we live in an area with extensive hills. The roads are very well paved but big hills. What would you recommend as far as a scooter and the sort of distance would be up to about 20 miles daily.
You are more than welcome! Question, do you have any ideas of videos that we could do in the future to help people? As for the scooter. It would all be dependent of the height and weight of the user. Best bet would be to give us a call at 800-677-6293, let us pick your brain and ask some questions to narrow down the best unit for your parent for their needs and mobility. Looking forward to speaking with you.
I have this scooter and I love it - when it works. It's had multiple electrical failures. How much would you charge to get me the rear wiring diagram for this scooter?
IMO, there's only one on the list, the Wrangler. The rest are toys. The Wrangler has tiny wheels. It needs more reflectors (real ones). Do they even make real reflectors anymore? and they need to be higher up. The down-low lights are great for seeing what you are running over, but we also need higher lights so everyone else knows what they just ran over.
The Wrangler has the largest tires out of all the units on this list with tires coming in at 14 1/2" tall. Granted, a lot of people cant get their legs up onto the Wrangler so that is where the other units in this video would come into play. There are options for everyone. Thanks for your comment.
With the dual motors and wide golf cart tires, without a doubt, go with the Wrangler. You have 4400 Watts of power in the motors combined and the wide tires would give you the most traction in the rain and snow. Hope this helps!
These are awesome compared to the road only scooters. The wheel base still looks narrow for off road, but if they move like that id be on it if it wasnt for the prices. Im sure they can get them down to under 1K, dont you have tradeins
There is no way we would be able to get these below $1K. The Wrangler is a $5K unit so no way we would be able to go that low. We don't take trade-ins.
Yeah, I think these scooter companies are making a killing on these “mobility” scooters. I’m not talking about Marc’s, but the maker! They know their clientele is disabled and/or the elderly so they should be more reasonable, and Medicare should cover most of it, but they don’t care if we die in our houses!
We do tell prices on our website for all of the units. Just for future reference, on all of out videos you will see a description box under the video itself. In that box, most of them will have a link to the unit being reviewed. Click on the link and it will take you to the webpage for the unit which will have the price. In the description box on this video you will see all of the units that are being reviewed and the webpage link to each one. Hope this helps!
You would not need a drivers license for a mobility scooter. Depending on the location, maybe for recreational scooters. You would want to check in with the location you are going to be using it around just to be sure.
Mark, In the beginning When your son' Alex Up until just recently He just wasn't my cup of tea but he so I didn't listenot unless you were there period But I must say He has come a long long way I'm sure under your guidance he has done an absolutely awesome Job on the posting of these off-road scooters He has added enthusiasm And knowledge of experience to do an outstanding job you must be proud of him. Is that good for a 20% discount LOL I'm just kidding sort of but he is he is really on top of his game
We ship in the US. We have had customers in the past have us ship the unit to someone here in the states and they would take care of shipping it to another country. Hope that answers your question.
Thanks for your comment and of course you are entitled to your opinion. Sorry to hear that you have had issues with them in the past. We haven't had that many issues with Pride. A lot of our customers purchase Pride products and are very happy with them. It may be the unit that you purchased or you just had a unit that didn't work out.

Thanks. Some units look a bit over engineered for my needs but they look impressive.
I'm 6ft 1inch tall, I'm 280lbs. I need something that can travel a minimum of 10 miles and can climb a steep road. Do you have any suggestions?.
The Wrangler would be your best bet for your height and weight and climbing as well as have 10 miles range on a single charge.
I have a new purcute scooter and I had to get rid of the lithem batteries. It would not charge at all and had NO power . After being on the charger for 4 days it would not charge. I finally had the scooter changed back to Agm batteries and now it is great.
Thank you. I am window shopping and this is excellent info, especially clearance.

Great video, really good information.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback!
Do you sell the Terian Hopper?
Sorry but we do not sell that unit
Terrain Hopper? Action Trackchair?
It'd be nice if your off-road mobility scooter list included OFF-ROAD mobility scooters.
These are all off-road scooters. Off road is anything that is not paved and all of these can go through the woods, as well as nature trails and such.
Does it have tubless tires
The only scooter in this video that has solid tires is the Baja Bandit. The rest of the scooters in this video have tubeless pneumatic tires.
Can a front basket be added to the Wrangler 2? Does it have an accessory hitch receiver?
You can have one of the front of the Wrangler 2. it comes with a mount to mount to the front of the tiller which once mounted, you can mount the basket onto the mount and be good to go.
Thanks for sharing 👌🏽🤑🤑😎

IF ITS SOLID TIRES # 5 WITH PLUE TOOTH ILL BUY 1
If you are speaking about the Wrangler 2, the only tires that comes on that unit are the pneumatic tires.
SOLID TIRES , I LIVE IN LA WITH BLUE TOOTH
The only one that has solid tires out of all the scooters reviewed would be the Bandit
@@MarcsmobilityDoes the Banit have blue tooth ?
No it does not

I don't think any of these would help trying to get away from a bear. I wouldn't want to find out...lmbo
