Absolutely Lovely Explanations, I took the pert, scored 120 in sept after just 3 days watching Mr. Urrego Pert Math series But I missed out by 3 points, with experience and more time I retook it few days ago (Oct) and I jumped from 120 - 130. Enough to get into college math course.Thank you Mr Urrego! Tip: Practise MAT0028 and MAT1033 final exams paper and you should be perfecly fine!

Hello, I took the PERT today and got a point away from the goal :( 113. However I am very thankful for the videos you made. My first attempt I did not know anything, because I didnt pay attention in algebra 1 and didnt study. I didnt even read the questions because i didnt know how to solve them, so my score was from lucky guesses. I dont really consider it my first attempt because of that. This time, I actually knew the formulas and strategies like FOIL and factoring, but there are fractions involved at SPC. The equations would have a fraction in them like 1/3. While you can use these strategies, its overwhelming trying to divide and multiply them. I realized this is Valencia college, which might me the reason why they vary. I would try using SPCs material but they are extremely outdated and innacurate. Could you please give me suggestions?

Great!👍 Having said that, can you write the problem that you have the fractions on, so I can give you ideas or tell you what to review, or I can solve it as well. Do your best remembering the problem, please let me know 😊
@@AlexanderUrrego There were some that had distrubutive propertiy needed but i just guessed as 1/3 was in it. My guess on the equation from memory : 2(1/2x - 2) + 4 (x - 4) = 3 - 3(1/3x +3) not completely accurate but that was similar. Harder ones where Solve for y: 3(x - ?y) = ?. I thought u had to distribute but the answer choices were lije slope intercept form but in fractions. A bit confusing but I think i got 1 of them correct Because idk fractions and there were ones like 1/3 and 3/5, it was hard to plug in usinf the choices. To be honest i kinda panicked which was fogging my thinking. Spcs pert has a lot of large numbers/fractions that got me off guard for sure, even if u have to foil/factor like for these. However after recognizing my mistakes I am motivated for a retake, especially since I was a point off! I just need to review what u do with fractions lol. Also, there were questions on percents of an item like 65% of this number (it was something in the thousands) and 43 percent of this . I have some issues with percentages too so i would appreciate anything to help!

It depends on much you remember. But if you just want to review the top, I would review the 2 videos for College Algebra. If you struggle with the math, go and check the one for intermediate algebra. Again, everything depends on how much you remember. If it was me, I would start from the basics ones and skip the material if I know it already. Check the full playlist, it’s in order. @@roo6799 sadly not a 123 but a 115 because I messed up that powering negatives would turn them positive and I thought it keeps them negative.
