-Patching complex column types
PS. I notice in the readme file at the link provided there are some broken links in the Installation section but managed fine by following the video guidance 👍
Thank you so much and extra thanks for catching the broken links, I've went in and fixed them. 🙂
Hi April,
I was creating a modern timesheet for one of my clients. Then by surprise I saw your video and download options. Really cool!!

Brilliant and simple! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
Love the videos and templates. Keep doing them!
Thanks, I will keeping doing templates. If you ever have any ideas for new templates to build let me know!
I've been wanting a process for power platform request management. Users can submit a form to request automation or app, detail and track , maybe connect with planner. And get the ROI after the project is completed, how much money the powerapp or automate is saving them in hours/dollars. Not a ticket system, but more of a platform for ideation and ROI testimonials from the business@@AprilDunnam
Brilliant use of named formulas and responsive container. I will leverage this in my next app
I'm glad you found it helpful!
Brilliant. Some really useful UI bits. Will look to build this from scratch myself. Thanks for the inspiration 💥💥💥💥
Thank you, I'm happy you found it useful! LEt me know how the building goes ☺
Thank you April for the fluid explanation, very useful to have and do tests on. Brilliant!!
Excellent stuff!
Thanks so much!
Fantastic Video :) I really liked your efforts and support which you are putting in Power Platform and Community :)
Thank you!
This is really great :) Using environment variables for the data source would have been done.
Hi April, this is great! Is there way to have multiple approvers? For example, I have times for different projects that need to be approved by different managers.
Hello April,
I just wanted to say that your video was great, thank you so much!!!
I have a question: how can I create the same but a monthly timesheet? Thank you for your time.
Great App, thanks for sharing!
A question: If I want to have the "BillTo" list as a my Master project list, containing all sorts of information about my projects, then it will build up to be a very long list after a while. If I have a status column for each project saying "Active" or "Inactive", how should the App be changes if I only want the "Active" projects and not the "Inactive" to show in the "BillTo dropdown list"?
April, this is a superb app. Question, when patching to the SP list, how can you manually dictate who the manager is for the user instead of pulling from Office365 users? I have time keeping managers that are not the actual managers listed within the system.
Hi April, thank you so much for this. It was super easy to install :) ! I just have an issue with the connectors, even though I replaced your lists with mine, in the "data" tab, when I share the app with my team I still see your lists in the "data permissions" section. The app says to make sure my users have access to 3 connectors, one is office 365. When I click on the other two (to make sure they are the lists I created in my Sharepoint), the link takes me to your Sharepoint. I don't know how can I replace them with mine, any suggestions? Thank you so much :) I get the error: "Error when trying to retrieve data from the network"
Hey April - this power app is super useful, thanks so much. Any pointers on reverse engineering to make it a monthly timesheet?
Hi April really a great solution! So easy to get started. I just have an issue as a rejected timesheet don't go back to a requester but in the approver's "My Timesheets" folder. Also name on the actual timesheet change at this stage to the approver's name. How to correct the error? Any suggestion from anyone is welcomed.
Amazing video 🙌🙌 Too good to be free! 😅
Thanks so much ❤
@@AprilDunnam Just realized that in your list your WeekStart column is formatted all together in your list setup but I believe it is Week Start in the code in the app :)
thanks April. what is the *Copy* functionality ?
Quick help: First of all Thank you so much for this wonderful app. I am testing it with different Manager for each user, but i noticed that the approval window is showing the Manager name(not the employee who submitted it) and when we click on to show the details, it still has the name as the Manager (current user), but the time entry is of the Employee who submitted it, is there a way I can fix it? Please help
Hi April, great app thanks!. With the Weeks dropdown, I can't figure out how to change date format string to dd/mm/yyyy (ie from 4/22/2024 to 4/28/2024 --> 22/4/2024 to 28/4/2024). Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks again.
Hey April i cant find my BillTo and TimeEntries link when i try to remove and add the data connects again
Hi April, where is the jaw dropping icon?? 😀 this is great, thank you for sharing your knowledge, appreciate it!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thanks so much! 🙂
Thanks April, this is excellent. It would be useful to add an additional list with tasks, so you can associate the time entry with a client/project as well as specific task/activity. I will definitely use your template and try to reverse engineer adding another list and field on the app. 👏
That's a good idea! Let me know how it goes adding that. I'll add that to my backlog to investigate
are you able to craete this ? i am working on same requirements
Hi, I tried to use your template and seems great. However, when I run the app I created, it wont let me Save or Submit. Nothing happens. Could you help with some advice? Thank you!
Can you make a tutorial for an app that can track employees breaks, employees can click on break button to begin their break and punch again to stop also see how much break is pending and manager can view which employee is currently on a break also approve break requests ?
Thanks for sharing this April, great application. How could I contribute? I have found a copy paste error
amazing app April, I was able to make this app to work and also contributed my fix to the GitHub repository, please review and merge with main branch
You can submit a PR to the samples repo where it's stored: github.com/pnp/powerplatform-samples/tree/main/samples/weekly-timesheet-sharepoint
Thanks for the video, I'm having issues with deleting the item from the SharePoint list when the user selects the trash bin button it deletes the row in the view but not in the list. do you have any ideas where in the code should I look for the issue?
Thanks in advance :)
Hi @AprilDunnam thanks again for the great video, just wondering if you know where can I find some details about removing the item from the SharePoint list.
How to upload multiple files to dataverse record and save it to share point doc library. And send notification email to user in that particular dataverse record with multiple documents attached in the email
