Haven't tried to run this guy with the Pizza Cutter yet, will try it next. The Charge Blade in Rise, seriously needs a Buff. I think with perfect RNG, this could go to maybe sub 2'20?? I Don't know. Uploading this for now, because the Doggo sleep RNG agreed with my script.
NOTE: The Talisman I used here is a modded talisman, which is LEGAL and possible to obtain within the game, although EXTREMELY RARE.

I think this is genuinely the one weapon in this franchise I WON'T play.
They change how it works every game and I just DON'T have the patience for that. Lmao

You're missing out bro. Trust me when I say it's one of the easiest weapons to learn. I felt the same way so I spent 800 hours in World without touching Charge Blade, and now it's my main. It has the same amount of changes as something like a longsword, where it still is the same weapon it's always been, but can do MORE now, instead of something like HH where it is actually different. The weapon still has the same combat as the first incarnation, and if you wanted you could play the original "style" to this day.
Tl;dr as a total CB noob I found it extremely easy to learn, and it still does almost everything the same as it did from inception, only with more things added like every other weapon over the years.
