I always find it difficult to understand the difference between the 2 ways to say thank you (forgive my spelling = m4 goi1 and dor jee) .. what is the difference?
Hi Amanda, thank you for your great lessons. May I ask, what if the other person asks me, how could I answer politely "no"? Like : M4 ho2 ji3 si1 ngo5 gaai3 ji3? Or something else? 😅
Since you have already covered “may I ask”, “do you mind”, “please”, “excuse me”, and “trouble”, I think the main new lesson here is how to say change seats lol
Yes! 🤫 The title is for attracting subscribers. 🤫 But for all my lovely audiences who has followed me for a long time. I don't want to simply repeat the basic without teaching new things. 🤫 Did I speak soft enough?🤣🤣🤣🤣
as a beginner i love how you explain, its very clearly for me to understand because you used some passed lesson to form a sentence,if you consider please❤ i want to understand the yuu song in the welcome❤i want to sing but i cannot pronouce what's the lyrics, the song can help to learn language thank you😊
As a content creator myself I know it’s hard sometimes to think about content in each video, but I felt a bit of a wasted opportunity to use the same sentence for all expressions. We could have learnt some more vocab! Also, maybe it’s my issue, But wasn’t the audio a bit lower than usual? Thanks for the regular uploads!
Great lesson as usual 名, is that supposed to be Man? I've heard/seen it as Meng and Ming, so Man so I'm always not sure which one to say. 麻煩你, I think would translate better as "sorry to bother you but". We use "may I trouble you" we usually use when asking for a Noun. "May I trouble you for a drink?"
Oh... I am so sorry. It's my mistake, I'll put that on my subtitle. It's meng2! I am so blessed to have you guys as my eyes and ears without judging me. Ahh... Right, it's really nice to translate that as "Sorry to bother you" If we want to say "May I trouble you for a drink?" We'll also say 麻煩你 in Cantonese
thank you soo much, Amanda! there's some incredibly polite ways of asking!
You are most welcome 😁

Amanda siusiu problem with the english writing "Man6" and "Man2" have different pronunciation. "Man2" sounds like "meng2" for me, is it correct ?
You are right ✅️
I have a typo on that. I have put that on the subtitle.
Meng2 is correct
Sorry for the mistake 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@5minutecantonese Thank you, it was making me confused
