I wish I was back in the USMC every single day 2015. I’d love to say my goodbyes to 2 of my friends who aren’t here anymore…. Damn I miss those days so much man
Who were you with, brother? West coast (best coast)?
I was serving in the Marines when 9/11 happened and deployed after. We lost many Brothers back then, and I feel your pain 23 years later.
I just wish we had been sent in to both conflicts with a mission to win ASAP. Instead we were given orders to go easy, which is never a winning strategy, and our government knew it all along.
USMC 1999-2007
Proud of all of you❤Love to my son first year in the Marines.
Bring back memories from my enlistment USMC 82-86 TACP "SEMPER FI"
My first time through HRST was in 1994. We had a 30’, 60’, 90’, and a 120’ fast rope. God we would just dirt dart in with the longer ropes. Then it went to 30’ or 60’ only and then finally 30’ only.

2:02 Whose Wildcat is that?

Was there a couple lynx helicopters in the beginning behind the Huey’s?
I can't believe the Marine Corps still use the Huey.
It's been upgraded like 7 times since the Vietnam war so it falls under the saying "If it aint broke why fix it?"
Write to congress and ask the to give us more money🙏🏾…the army doesn’t deserve it
Two engines instead of one, all new avionics, and what was not broke did not need fixing.
The Air Force with the B-52 as well.
Last time I was ever at MCAS Yuma was when I EAS’d back in 2006. That place is a s*** hole.
🤙
I gotta say, there's a lot of stuff not on those helicopters that was on the SH-3H.
Air assault with no deuce gear? Looks like a fun day.
You can cook eggs on those glove palms after fast roping from heights..

Why does the helicopter not have doors?
So the Marines operate on a very small budget. To save money they buy helicopters without doors. Hopefully congress approves a higher budget for the Marines next year!
Sounds like the start of a joke
LMAO!
@@nickfarina4041 Also, they can't afford cup holders or USB charging ports.
I’m gonna need you to go ask Gunny for the humv keys.
