One of the things state legislators in red states are pursuing is the destruction of public education. Republican state legislators across their states have passed laws for using taxpayer funds to give out vouchers so that parents can send their kids to private schools which aren't accredited and are mostly religious based schools that teach anti-science and false history to the students. This is a step to literally brainwash the upcoming generations to be more manipulated by republican bs. Dumb down a population and you can control them more easily. It's a blatant tactic and it is also in violation of the Constitution's establishment clause.

The challenge with our congressional delegation is that each of them only takes a small piece of Maricopa county and then staples on HUGE pieces of rural Arizona to "balance" it. Meaning the overwhelmingly blue urban center gets no representation because the more red rural areas select the representatives. They've gerrymandered us into this mess.

Big question, who is really controlling the RNC and perhaps even the Donald.
I honestly believe it's more than one set of cooks stirring that particular pot. Usually one can discern the hand in the puppet by observing who they act in favor of, but in the case of Trump, he acts in favor of so many it's unclear if there is actually a single controlling hand. That being the case, I look to see who he acts against, and that's fairly clear - anyone that is a patriot, loves freedom, calls out his bad acts and grift, and/or doesn't support Trump.
