  • On Survival Day 2015 we broadcast live from the Yabun Festival in Victoria Park in Sydney as mob around Australia gather to celebrate the survival of Aboriginal people and cultures. Australia Day - January 26 - marks the anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet at Port Jackson in 1788, the raising of the British flag and the proclamation of British sovereignty. The push in recent years has been to celebrate the cultural diversity of modern Australia - but for the First People of this land - the date remains an uncomfortable one. Rallies have been held across the country - calling for Justice - equality - and Sovereignty.
Myles Morgan reports from Canberra, where freedom activists came from across the nation,
Craig Quartermaine was in Melbourne where hundreds marched through the streets as part of Invasion Day protests,
Danny Teece-Johnson braved the wet conditions in Redfern, Sydney, where hundreds came together to show solidarity and marched for Survival Day,
and David Liddle reports from Brisbane, where the Murri community rallied in large numbers on Invasion Day.
