I’m actually here at Mandalay as you posted your video!! Lol Your review is spot on across the board. It is underrated I feel due to location. But great vibe here. The band’s nightly at Rythms and Riffs are awesome!!
Your video covers Mandalay Bay perfectly, both the pros and cons! I’ve always thought their base rooms are very good, better than Bellagio and Aria. The large windows bring a good amount of light in, giving a true relaxing resort feeling. I also appreciate the large variety of dining options. You explain the major downsides (location and casino) accurately. Nothing can be done about the location, and the tram to Excalibur definitely helps. Normally I like a casino that doesn’t have slot machines tightly packed together, but with Mandalay Bay there are too few machines and way too much open space. Your complaint about the slot selection is dead on, and it doesn’t help that the closest neighboring casino (Luxor) is also not a favorite of mine. One plus to the location: while there is few convenience store options close by, there is a Smith’s grocery store about 4 miles south on Las Vegas Boulevard. A quick drive to stock up on supplies, plus they do have online options for ordering, including delivery! Another benefit is you are close to the Town Square open air shopping center, which has a large movie theater complex, tons of shopping and dining, plus a Whole Foods. If you don’t want to drive or walk, the Deuce bus goes down that way. To me, Mandalay Bay caters primarily to conventions, families, concert/sports attendees and people who want to avoid the noise, crowds and traffic of the center Strip. If I had the option of a solo trip I would definitely stay here and just take the tram over to Excalibur and play at their neighboring casinos most of the time. As it is, you make Mandalay Bay look very tempting right now!
Mandalay Bay is one of the best Vegas experiences I had. Saw the GoGos in concert, partied in The Foundation Room, won $2K on slots, room was gorgeous!
We love it there. From the check in, we are both MGM gold and have the MGM card, to the amazing pool complex and the size of their standard rooms. Yes, the location isn't ideal, but for a couple of days, it is great. We really like the assortment of dining options as well. The casino isn't our favorite, but I really don't mind it as much. We just hop the tram and go to other MGM properties. Thanks guys, great review.
If you have the MGM Credit Card but are Pearl Status can you still use the Priority Guest Check in like in this video or do you have to be Gold Status regardless of if you have the Credit Card?
Just stayed there last month and for me the Pro's and Con's were: Pro's: - The rooms were good size and clean - Good bars. Skyfall Lounge has awesome views. Flankers is a good vibe and Ri Ra is arguably the best Irish bar in Vegas - The Sportsbook is huge - Good connection to Luxor and Excalibur Con's: - Might be controversial, but we didn't like the pools. Too many kids and the lifeguards on the wave pool are on a power trip - As mentioned in the video, rarely get offered drinks in the casino - If you don't like walking, probably not the place for you
The more I think about it I could probably be talked into the pool being a con as I get older. Still great for families and children but if you don’t have those it’s not as relaxing as lots of other options
Tina and I have yet to stay at Mandalay Bay. We have made reservations, but then canceled because of the location. The room looks really nice. I agree with everything you said about the casino floor. Thanks for showing all the restaurants, I forget how many choices you have at Mandalay Bay. Tina has had to attend a couple of conventions there with the National Athletic Trainers Association. But, we stayed at the Luxor while the convention was going on. The pools look really nice. Skyfall is really cool, and just amazing views. We love the Luxor Vibe. You guys do a great job on your reviews - thanks for all the great details.
While Mil and I have not been "bit" by the Vegas bug yet, it's fun to watch your videos and get a first hand look at the attractions, food and fun. Thanks for all the great information you guys.... Hope to see you on Utopia soon..
Great review as always! I’ve stayed there with my family and loved it. Very nice rooms and property overall for a lower cost. I really liked the sports book and bar. Thanks!
The problem for Mandalay after being there in the past is we were there in October 2017 when the shooting took place so I have not been back near there since. Such a stigma in my opinion. 😔
You guys are spot on. Completely underrated property and great value for the price for sure - rooms are outstanding. Location is the big drawback of course, but if you have plans for a concert or football game or show or anything on that side of the strip then it's perfect - Rideshare gets you anywhere else. We haven't stayed there in a couple years or so, but are staying at Delano next weekend and looking forward to the brunch at Border Grill! I believe the temperature will be about 600 degrees - give or take.
I stayed at Mandalay Bay last week on Thursday. I was hoping to see my self in this video lol but it was amazing one thing I did wish tho was the pool area to have some sort of slides or even make the wave pool a bit waver. Great video tho.!
Location is great for attending events at Allegiant stadium. Not really far from T Mobile arena either. Will also be close to the A's stadium once it's done.

Loved this video guys! Great work as always! We’ll be staying there for 3 nights in September over our wedding anniversary and we’re super excited to enjoy everything Mandalay Bay has to offer. -James
Sunday greetings ! As you know from my comments I’m a Bellagio and Aria guy …however I do really like Mandalay Bay and agree it’s underrated. Last time I stayed I was comped a one bedroom suite which was huge and super nice . I love the pools and restaurants . The casino is a bit lacking though . I heard they just removed the waterfalls out front which was such a cool spot and so relaxing . I guess they are cutting back on the water attractions . Anyway …spot on review guys . Awesome as always 😎😎😎
Stayed there last month. One great PRO you didn't mention is the on-site aquarium, very well done and stocked for a hotel. Other than that there were several CON's for me: > The long, long walk from parking to registration. > The casino is smokier than most high-end properties. Air is very stale. > The walls in the rooms seem to be paper-thin. Had a hard time sleeping because of the neighbors. > We paid for a "view" room, which is marred by a tint film on the windows. The pictures don't come out right.
We love everything about Mandalay Bay other than the location, but it’s still our favorite hotel. We love the pool and don’t mind the kids. I love having my own closet and my husband takes the taller one. The bathroom is awesome!
In 14 trips to Vegas I’m yet to stay at Mandalay Bay, I think I’ve always overlooked it due to its location. It after watching this I’m definitely adding it to my must stay list. The standard room looks great. Thanks for the informative review.
We stayed at Mandalay Bay last summer and really enjoyed ourselves! I liked how the casino floor was large and there was lots of room and it wasn't crowded at all! The rooms are beautiful and the pool was amazing but very crowded! We went over to Luxor for a couple of shows and shopping in the shops along the way and when we were ready to go to the Strip, we ordered an Uber, super easy. I wasn't aware they had a separate check in for MGM Credit Card holders, I just got my MGM Credit Card for the FREE PARKING at all MGM owned Casinos and the monthly MGM comps are AWESOME!
That is the "new" poker room at MB. The old poker room used to be by the sportsbook but they moved it to this "temporary" space. They have cash games and tournaments but the room is not 24/7. There's one day a week it's not open at all, and I believe the other days it closes at 3 or 4am. If you're looking to play a lot of poker this would not be a good place for you as the next closest poker room is at MGM Grand.
Mandalay Bay is a great place to target for a show or meal. The pools look great but you need to stay there to use them. Overall, I would stay there only as a restful stay and Uber up the Strip for entertainment. On a personal note, we experienced a hit and run damaging our car south bound on the I15 a few years ago. When they refused to pull over, I tailed the all the way to LasVegas Blvd while talking to the highway patrol. They converged on the driver right into that gas station you suggested for beverages. They swarmed with 5 cars.👏👏👏. We were told to beware in Vegas that drivers always run.
My hubby and i luved playing the slots there and the cocktail waitress we saw even remembered what drinks we was drinking wen ever she passed she asked if we wanted another which my hubby luved and thanks 4 ur video wud luv 2 stay there 1 day ❤
I have only been to the shark reef, but I thought that was really cool! The resort looks great, but being so far south has always prevented me from staying there. Park MGM/NY/MGM Grand are about as far south as I want to go. Great video as usual!
I love Mandalay Bay. Obviously the biggest drawback is its location. If you could move MB to where Cromwell is, it would be a top 7 resort. Great breakdown though! 🍻
Great property! Rooms are nice, food is solid and the casino is garbage. Location is definitely not the greatest but with the trams and if you aren't planning on venturing to center strip and further, it's definitely a solid property. Great video guys!
Thanks you nailed almost everything. I was really disappointed in the prices of non-alcoholic drinks water etc at the bars. Like you said drink service is terrible on the floor. Pro-tip about the gas station across the street a little pricey but way more reasonable than the hotel convenience stores.
Absolutely love Mandalay Bay. The gym inside the spa is massive and well worth the day fee to have access to the steam room, sauna, cold plunge, and relaxation areas. The pool is wonderful and I got my first handpay on their casino floor this April. Food court is awesome for affordable eats and there are ample vegan options at this property.
We just returned from Vegas - we usually stay at Mandalay Bay but opted for Park MGM this time. Love the Park MGM location but I missed Mandalay Bay - nicer rooms and I love the pool area with the beach. Luxury at a discount is an accurate description. Definitely want to try out Orla and other restaurants next trip.
Thanks for sharing! Yea there is a significant trade off for more mid strip. The bathrooms alone are no comparison between park and MB sadly and the pools are extreme ends of the spectrum
Thank you for this VERY helpful Mandalay review. I’m new to the vegas scene, waiting 20 mins for a drink is unacceptable 😂 , love the room and the pool section. But I think I will continue staying at the Palms. I really enjoyed my visit there . Take care 🍀🥂
Stayed here July 4 -8th. Slots are too tight. Sadly, had to do the cash advance(on top of loosing my budget)against the credit card for >$10k…….. not one hand-pay. Only positive was I made it 3/4 to Platinum. There was a volleyball tournament and it was too packed. Lastly, on $575 Free Play and $460 Point Play, not one Bonus on Buffalo Ascension. Mandalay Bay and Delano are the BEST bet for the Strip!
Never stayed at Mandalay Bay but spent time eating, playing slots and once, took on the Shark Reef ; that being said , I’m looking for a family friendly resort for my adult kids and three grandchildren , and it sounds like MB is the winner for a family of 10 ; the grandkids would sure enjoy the wave pool and lazy river for sure . Question: Is the keurig coffee makers in every room or was that because you’re “Gold Status “ ? Thanks once again Josh and Rachel- cheers ! Chef Bari
I've never stayed at Mandalay, but I like the spacious casino floor and the rooms 👌. Two reasons, 1) It's so far away from my favorite area, center strip. And not much around that area to walk to quickly. 2)Not a high level with MGM like I am with Caesar's. Even though I get comp offers, I would still have to pay for resort fees 😢. Uhhh...nope! 😆 Mayyyyyybe one day 😉. I also just have to say you 2 are such a "delightful" and down to earth couple. I don't really use "delightful" in my day to day life, but that's the word that comes to mind. I am glad I got a chance to meet and chat with you a couple of times, (pinchi) Keno's wedding and then Grannyfest. You're a beautiful couple and not to mention so friendly 😁😁. Have a fabulous weekend ☺️
I agree that Mandalay Bay is under-rated. Yes, it is at the south end of the strip but now that Im older (in my 60's) I actually prefer that it is relatively quiet. I no longer care to be in the hustle and bustle of the center strip. There is a lot of walking, so may not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues. . I also agree with your thoughts on the rooms. The standard room is by far the nicest of all the strip hotels I've stayed at. Love the huge bathroom. I like that the casino is busy but not overcrowded. Machines are spaced out so you have plenty of room. My opinion is biased because i won a jackpot on my last visit.
Hubby & I stayed at Mandalay Bay every time we were in Vegas for the past 20 years. We always loved everything about it. Especially that eucalyptus scent!!!!!! For the past few visits we’ve moved mid strip to Cosmopolitan
I stayed there a couple of weeks ago. My big takeaways- the pool is too cold for my taste and it is like a 35 minute walk if you need to hit CVS for any reason. That aside I loved it. Room was nice and it had a lot of great food options either in it or between it and the Luxor.
Back around 2001 I took my girlfriend to the Mandalay Bay and I remember they had giant jacuzzi tubs in each room. Easily large enough for two people with "room to maneuver" if you know what I mean
Lots of food options at Mandalay Bay . Good place to stop on your way to the airport. Nice Cliffhanger for your next stay ! The suspense is killing me ! #wulffdendad
I feel like that area of the Strip will see more traffic in a few years once the Brightline West opens with a station not too far from there. Hopefully Dream will be built too to add more foot traffic.
Wow such a nice standard room. Honestly looks just as good as the remodeled Bellagio rooms, and much nicer than Aria standard rooms (which are in desperate need of a remodel). Only downside is location, but other than that Mandalay is an awesome property! Thanks for the great video
Funny you say that, we went to Bellagio next. Lets just say we are split on it. Yea Mandalay Bay could benefit from more properties moving south. The stadium is convenient for Raiders games but hard to see the location as a pro outside of 10-12 Sundays a year.
☆☆☆☆☆SIX Dollars for Bottled Waters?!! Wait WHAT? Now Mandalay Bay has always been the place to go for 'Live' music bands especially at the House of Blues. The Beach pool I've Never been to but I heard mixed reviews on it. Other than that I believe Mandalay Bay was doing awesome until the unfortunate mass shooting there back then. Many still remember and stay away unfortunately. I really like the Resorts outstanding Golden colors. Hopefully they don't change it. Mandalay Bay will definitely make a Comeback once the Baseball Stadium is up and running. No worries 👍👍❤❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve stayed at Delano twice. I really liked it. Unfortunately that roof top bar was never open each time. Didn’t really spend much time at the pool, was too windy during my trips. The shops area was cool, lots of good places to eat up there too.
The basement was very smelly, one had to pass through this area while going to the swiming pools. Bathroom shower drain was partially blocked. Resort fee was charged twice. Automated vallet kisok was not working one morning, there was a big rush a the lower lobby. We were told that charges will be reimbersed, but it never happened.
I have a love/meh relationship with Mandalay Bay. I do like the vibe there, very resortish, and the price is great for a property like that. But, as everyone knows, the location sucks. I do feel very relaxed when I go there! By the way, tonight I realized I was not subscribed to your channel. That has been resolved!
We are here at Delano now. Sunny and 110 degrees. Walked around the pool area looking for a place with a little shade. Very disappointed that a resort in the desert has an extremely limited number of loungers with access to an umbrella or some shade, unless you fork over $600 or more dollars. In this kind of heat, shade is important. It felt like a new way to money grab. Our room is great, but for us, there are a few misses.... very dark hallways, not as friendly as other properties, not the greatest signage for a large casino. We paid for early check in, because we were moving resorts. At 1pm the app said they were still preparing our room. Our previous resort gave us a comp late check out at 1, so we headed down to see if the room was ready despite what the app showed. Since the room wasn't ready early, I asked if they could comp us a late checkout for our trouble. She said yes, but half hour later, I got a CC notification for $100, so I'm expecting to have to talk to someone about this at checkout. It was after 2 when we finally got our room.
I stayed there last year. It’s nice but if I’m comped at Mandalay and park mgm, I choose park mgm because it’s center strip and the free tram takes u to bellagio. Mandalay is simply too far of a walk from center strip. I was comped at Delano but didn’t end up going. That’s one of the few strip properties I haven’t stayed at yet
The walgreens part doesn't really bug me as i fill up before i get to the MB.. The Rira had some of the best fish i ever had and the wings there are great also
Yes. 1 of the pools is a wave pool. They also have a lazy river and standard pool. There’s also an adults only area and small pools for Delano and 4 Seasons.
We went to our first Vegas trrip to celebrate my 40th. While I did actually really enjoy our time there something that they spray or pump into the casinos absolutely destroyed my allergies. I was miserable walking through the Casinos to get to whevered we were going. I think its some sort of floral scent they spray on fake flowers. This was in Mandalay Bay
I have only stayed at Paris and Mandalay bay. I enjoyed the room at Mandalay bay but the whole vibe was kinda off. I think if I’m staying this far off the strip I am going to book Palms.
the hotel rooms are lovely at Mandalay and Delano,, its less expensive because of its distance from the main strip area, terrible restaurant selection, and the pools are aggravating
In the 00s, Mandalay Bay was the hottest place. Its location was never seen as an issue because it was where you wanted to be. Seeing the casino so dead breaks my heart.
I haven't been at Mandalay bay for yrs. I stopped when a mass shooter used a room to kill many people. Including one person I know as well as a few I know who were able to get away. Your room while beautiful and good view of the strip has the view of where the rt 91 concert was at. Too many memories. But that's just me
Completely understand that. I (Josh) remember going to Las Vegas a week after the shooting and seeing the glass still blown out. Horrible to think back on that
@@JoshRachael : we went in March last year. My mom took me to Vegas last year for my 50th. We also saw Adele and Katy Perry and one of the magic shows.
Other downsides: Self parking is sooo far away from MB rooms. Delano rooms sooo far away from pool complex. Most dinner options sooo far way from MB rooms toward convention center. Layout sucks
I do love playing at the Mandalay but I do not understand how you can say the casino is boring .. I mean you put a 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, put another 20 in and lose, endless fun.
I live in Vegas and have been to the Mandalay Bay several times. I must say the crowd at the main beach pool is atrocious. Tons of screaming kids, along with rude, pushy, obese adults with no class - and very overcrowded.
@@JoshRachael My wife and I were actually staying at The Four Seasons that shares the property and left the Four Season's pool to check out the main beach pool. The difference was shocking to say the least.
defo not for those on a budget! way way too far south lol..only good part is 10min wok to the vegas sign! and the lazy ass river! if ur rich and got no money issues its a no brainer but for cheapAF peeps..its a no go pho sure! if i had an unlimited uber pass i'd stay here lolz
Mbay is hubbies fave and it’s my favorite room! However I feel that most MGM properties all have the same games. I like variety! I’m sad that they are probably going to ruin Cosmo with their lack of variety.
You aren’t wrong about that. MGM needs to find a way to get a better mix of games. The room is so frickin nice though. We went to Bellagio after this and this room was definitely our pick over that one
Why not just stay in a cute little town with nothing better to do but F all day ? Likely because people who go to Vegas don't have much going on in their lives in the first place - That's why they go there bfd - Good luck with it - My disclaimer - I didn't waste my time watching this video in it's entirely and no I am not subscribing to it - Good luck with it

They swarmed with 5 cars.👏👏👏. We were told to beware in Vegas that drivers always run.
Thanks for sharing!!
I 1000% agree!! MB is incredibly underated!!
Totally
just got home from vegas 118 degrees HOT lol my slides i was wearing melted and broke that were in the sun at the pool
good times
We’ve seen the temps lately 🥵
I'm going at the end of this month...I'm SURE it's going to be HOT HOT HOT!
Check in tonight for the first time at MB. Can’t wait, now I’ll watch the video
Hope you enjoy it! Just be ready to get your steps in or take an Uber from time to time
My hubby and i luved playing the slots there and the cocktail waitress we saw even remembered what drinks we was drinking wen ever she passed she asked if we wanted another which my hubby luved and thanks 4 ur video wud luv 2 stay there 1 day ❤
That is awesome!
I have only been to the shark reef, but I thought that was really cool! The resort looks great, but being so far south has always prevented me from staying there. Park MGM/NY/MGM Grand are about as far south as I want to go. Great video as usual!
Thank you!
I love Mandalay Bay. Obviously the biggest drawback is its location. If you could move MB to where Cromwell is, it would be a top 7 resort. Great breakdown though! 🍻
100%
mgm shudda moved mandabay to the mirage location!
Because affordable hotels are on the center of the strip
And that wasn't supposed to happen ?
Location is definitely a drawback. It is at the very south end of the strip.
Great property! Rooms are nice, food is solid and the casino is garbage. Location is definitely not the greatest but with the trams and if you aren't planning on venturing to center strip and further, it's definitely a solid property. Great video guys!
Thanks guys!
You don’t like the casino?
@sadclown14 it very boring in our opinion. It's like it has all the off brand machines. Luxor is such a better casino.
@@SeekingVegasSunrise and Excalibur is even better
Thanks you nailed almost everything. I was really disappointed in the prices of non-alcoholic drinks water etc at the bars. Like you said drink service is terrible on the floor. Pro-tip about the gas station across the street a little pricey but way more reasonable than the hotel convenience stores.
Exactly!
Thanks so much for sharing!
The bathrooms alone are no comparison between park and MB sadly and the pools are extreme ends of the spectrum
a thorough rundown of Mandalay Bay-pros, cons, and everything in between!
thank you!
We love Mandalay Bay. It's nice to come back to the quiet after the hustle and bustle of the day.
so true plus it's nice that way in the mornings
Thank you for this VERY helpful Mandalay review. I’m new to the vegas scene, waiting 20 mins for a drink is unacceptable 😂 , love the room and the pool section. But I think I will continue staying at the Palms. I really enjoyed my visit there . Take care 🍀🥂
Glad it was helpful! We have not stayed at the Palms yet but maybe someday
1st stay coming up in September perfect timing!
🙌🏼
Stayed here July 4 -8th. Slots are too tight. Sadly, had to do the cash advance(on top of loosing my budget)against the credit card for >$10k…….. not one hand-pay. Only positive was I made it 3/4 to Platinum. There was a volleyball tournament and it was too packed. Lastly, on $575 Free Play and $460 Point Play, not one Bonus on Buffalo Ascension.
Mandalay Bay and Delano are the BEST bet for the Strip!
Yikes, yea our gambling did not do well either sadly. But still great rooms and pool
Chef Bari
We have had it in all the rooms we’ve stayed at, so we are guessing it’s in all the rooms, not due to our status with MGM!
Enjoy your stay!
Mayyyyyybe one day 😉.
Thanks so much Coco! It was so fun that we met at Kenos wedding, maybe again someday!
Always helps to win at a place
Mandalas bay is very beautiful,a lot to do and see ,when you walk around.
Agreed
Hubby & I stayed at Mandalay Bay every time we were in Vegas for the past 20 years. We always loved everything about it. Especially that eucalyptus scent!!!!!!
For the past few visits we’ve moved mid strip to Cosmopolitan
Nice. Do you plan on doing more at Mandalay Bay or are you done with it?
@@JoshRachael
We like Cosmopolitan because it’s mid strip meaning no more rental cars. lol
We’re actually booked mid October for 5 nights….can’t wait
I just stayed at Mandalay Bay July 1st thru the 5th. Had a great stay.
Us too!
I stayed there a couple of weeks ago. My big takeaways- the pool is too cold for my taste and it is like a 35 minute walk if you need to hit CVS for any reason. That aside I loved it. Room was nice and it had a lot of great food options either in it or between it and the Luxor.
Thanks for sharing!
Mandalay Bay looks like a nice place 😊. I did visit the Casino on my last visit
It is!
@@JoshRachael 😊😊
I would def stay there or Delano in the future! Great rundown!
Thanks Crystal, it’s definitely worth a try at least once. Not as fun of a casino floor as Cosmo and no balconies of course but it’s a great property
Back around 2001 I took my girlfriend to the Mandalay Bay and I remember they had giant jacuzzi tubs in each room. Easily large enough for two people with "room to maneuver" if you know what I mean
Haha seems they still have them
id say its highly underrated if MB was even slightly closer like where Excalibur is itd be a top 5 strip hotel.
Hard to argue that. It could benefit from some new resorts on the south end
Lots of food options at Mandalay Bay . Good place to stop on your way to the airport. Nice Cliffhanger for your next stay ! The suspense is killing me ! #wulffdendad
🤣
I feel like that area of the Strip will see more traffic in a few years once the Brightline West opens with a station not too far from there. Hopefully Dream will be built too to add more foot traffic.
The Brightline West Station will be 3 miles from MB at 1100 W Robindale Rd, Las Vegas, NV from what I found.
That could help
Wow such a nice standard room. Honestly looks just as good as the remodeled Bellagio rooms, and much nicer than Aria standard rooms (which are in desperate need of a remodel). Only downside is location, but other than that Mandalay is an awesome property! Thanks for the great video
Funny you say that, we went to Bellagio next. Lets just say we are split on it. Yea Mandalay Bay could benefit from more properties moving south. The stadium is convenient for Raiders games but hard to see the location as a pro outside of 10-12 Sundays a year.
Karaoke? I'm there! I'm going to spend a few nights at Nomad and load up at the CVS. Then, I will spend a few nights at the Delano. Thanks 😊
Bahaha
Thank you for sharing!
There's no point in holding the hotel responsible , The victims families are scared for life
Ruining the hotels reputation doesn't accomplish anything
That’s is nice that you did this did you have to pay fees of any kind?
We did not because we are Gold with MGM Rewards
I’ve stayed at Delano twice. I really liked it. Unfortunately that roof top bar was never open each time. Didn’t really spend much time at the pool, was too windy during my trips. The shops area was cool, lots of good places to eat up there too.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing
I have a love/meh relationship with Mandalay Bay. I do like the vibe there, very resortish, and the price is great for a property like that. But, as everyone knows, the location sucks. I do feel very relaxed when I go there! By the way, tonight I realized I was not subscribed to your channel. That has been resolved!
Nice catch! Thanks so much for the support
Oh shoot.
Yea we don’t plan on doing it often but if we want a pool day or two we prefer it.
@@JoshRachael I heard their pool is nice but never checked it out when I stayed there lol
1:48 what floor and room? Do you remember tht shooter ?
@@astrozonemusic we know of it but don’t know what floor he was on
The walgreens part doesn't really bug me as i fill up before i get to the MB.. The Rira had some of the best fish i ever had and the wings there are great also
Good to know!
Love that place!!!❤
🙌🏼
Isn’t the pool a wave pool. I never heard you mention it ? Or is it another pool there that is ?
Yes. 1 of the pools is a wave pool. They also have a lazy river and standard pool. There’s also an adults only area and small pools for Delano and 4 Seasons.
Is there live music at this location
Yes at Rhythm and Riffs and House of Blues
That lazy river has me sold
Nice
We ❤Mandalay Bay.
🥰
I miss the Lobster Benedict at the old 24 hrs restaurant. Otherwise a nice place
Oh nice
We went to our first Vegas trrip to celebrate my 40th. While I did actually really enjoy our time there something that they spray or pump into the casinos absolutely destroyed my allergies. I was miserable walking through the Casinos to get to whevered we were going. I think its some sort of floral scent they spray on fake flowers. This was in Mandalay Bay
Oh shoot.
U mentioned Carrot Top. Did u enjoy the show?
We had fun with it! We had never seen him before but it’s a cheaper show that doesn’t eat up your whole night and we enjoyed it
I have only stayed at Paris and Mandalay bay. I enjoyed the room at Mandalay bay but the whole vibe was kinda off. I think if I’m staying this far off the strip I am going to book Palms.
I can understand it
the hotel rooms are lovely at Mandalay and Delano,, its less expensive because of its distance from the main strip area, terrible restaurant selection, and the pools are aggravating
We would disagree about the terrible restaurant selection but we all have different tastes
Keep in mind, they now close the tram at 12AM. Used to be 2AM. No bueno.
Oh shoot we had a clip showing that and forgot to put it in, thank you
I used to stay at Mandalay Bay but its location leaves much to be desired. I prefer staying center strip or at the Wynn.
We are good with it once a year for pool season but more a fan on Wynn area as well
In the 00s, Mandalay Bay was the hottest place. Its location was never seen as an issue because it was where you wanted to be. Seeing the casino so dead breaks my heart.
Sad
I haven't been at Mandalay bay for yrs. I stopped when a mass shooter used a room to kill many people. Including one person I know as well as a few I know who were able to get away. Your room while beautiful and good view of the strip has the view of where the rt 91 concert was at. Too many memories. But that's just me
Completely understand that. I (Josh) remember going to Las Vegas a week after the shooting and seeing the glass still blown out. Horrible to think back on that
We saw the Michael Jackson show there!
Nice! We went in 2021
@@JoshRachael : we went in March last year. My mom took me to Vegas last year for my 50th. We also saw Adele and Katy Perry and one of the magic shows.
Location is the main downside until they develop more on the lots across the street. That place would shine mid strip.
For sure
Other downsides: Self parking is sooo far away from MB rooms. Delano rooms sooo far away from pool complex. Most dinner options sooo far way from MB rooms toward convention center. Layout sucks
It’s gigantic and I think that plays into layout issues
2:02 💀
@@astrozonemusic yikes 😳
@@JoshRachael Bro?! Why did you do that? LOL
More about the vibe of the floor than the losing. Lots of casinos have high energy feel and even if you lose you have a good experience
🎉❤
Thank you
I live in Vegas and have been to the Mandalay Bay several times. I must say the crowd at the main beach pool is atrocious. Tons of screaming kids, along with rude, pushy, obese adults with no class - and very overcrowded.
It's not relaxing, thats for sure
@@JoshRachael My wife and I were actually staying at The Four Seasons that shares the property and left the Four Season's pool to check out the main beach pool. The difference was shocking to say the least.
Ah yes I can agree with ya there. Even at Delanos pool it is much less crowded and rowdy
Love Mandalay Bay, it is getting a little worn after 30 years.
If Mandalay Bay was mid strip it would be the best in Vegas.
Hard to disagree with that
Foundation room great for a drink and views but the restaurant has terrible food
Yea we did not enjoy the food there either, pretty disappointing
but,can you get a good nite's sleep there?
We did
defo not for those on a budget! way way too far south lol..only good part is 10min wok to the vegas sign! and the lazy ass river! if ur rich and got no money issues its a no brainer but for cheapAF peeps..its a no go pho sure! if i had an unlimited uber pass i'd stay here lolz
Yea we tend to use a lot of ride share if staying for more than a couple nights
Mbay is hubbies fave and it’s my favorite room! However I feel that most MGM properties all have the same games. I like variety! I’m sad that they are probably going to ruin Cosmo with their lack of variety.
You aren’t wrong about that. MGM needs to find a way to get a better mix of games. The room is so frickin nice though. We went to Bellagio after this and this room was definitely our pick over that one
STOP WHINING
please
Why not just stay in a cute little town with nothing better to do but F all day ? Likely because people who go to Vegas don't have much going on in their lives in the first place - That's why they go there bfd - Good luck with it - My disclaimer - I didn't waste my time watching this video in it's entirely and no I am not subscribing to it - Good luck with it
