Robert Downey Jr was in his 40s during the first Iron Man. That's objectively one of the greatest casting choices in comic movie history. Look at Ian McKellen for Magneto, or Patrick Stewart for Xavier. They were well past 40 and stuck around for a while. Yes, I get their characters are older anyway, but they still made it last for years. Hugh Jackman played Wolverine for 17 years. He started at 32. Henry started at 29. So that still gives him a good 7 years when using Jackman's time. And he's RETURNING as Logan at the age of 54. Henry is not too old. He's PERFECT for a middle aged Superman that's been doing this for a few years.
There was talk of pushing Robert Pattison. He's only a few years younger than Henry.
He doesn't even look his age.

When the Studios got rid of Zack Snyder and declared the Snyder Cut of Justice League noncannon, they flushed their best shot with the current cast down the toilet.
I was so hyped when Superman showed up in Black Adam...and then they did this...this is so wrong.
Gunn said they're not doing a origin story but a Clark Kent in Metropolis movie. This can only work if Clark finds big threats that require Superman. They want to clean house but I do think Cavill deserves better. He's one of a kind. It's harder to find an actor to play Superman than Batman.

Disagree. While I think firing Cavell was wrong, too many don't get Superman. Clark Kent is Superman! And many directors/artists don't seem to comprehend this, especially Zack Snyder. In order to see Superman as a complex character you must also flesh out Clark Kent! Gunn is doing the right thing by doing a Clark Kent movie if it's true. Shame Cavill won't be him.

Highly agree on the Superman game, people have no imagination when it comes to Superman when it’s a lot more simpler than people realize. And I highly believe that a Superman game can work because of how large his rouge’s gallery is. Making it in space is definitely a go to
I always felt the mobility and combat of a game based around Superman is where it will struggle, not so much the power level or his enemies.
Seriously, they keep thinking he needs to go up against normal humans or slightly enhanced ones. Tyrone is right, if you can have a Kratos game where he’s incredibly strong and deals with gods, you can have a Superman game.

I mean to be honest with this accouncement, what is the point in going see The Flash or the new Shazam movie?! If Henry, Gal, Ben, and Jason are out, what is the point. I think what's going to happen is The Flash is going to be released, it's going have a mediocre box office sale, and WB is going to blame the movie and its production, not realizing that likely the majority of the reason why it didn't do so well is because the amount of people is going to come to the same conclusion, what is the point.
