- One of the biggest issues we faced with the V6 Touareg vs the V10 was ground clearance.
Similar to our V10 body lift kit for models with air suspension, we have now put together this kit suitable for coil springs suspension models too!

Well, I have Touareg GP 3.0 TDI in Russia, Sibiria, it's on springs. Changed the tires on 255/65 R19. Rubbing sometimes, but overall it's high enough. I really like your kit))
I have this same model and color..just put 265 AT tires on..thinking of lifting it..thanks for the peek..😎👍

Nice upgrades. Is the front higher because of the engine is lighter then the v10? Great idea with the new towing eye and winch bracket.

When you lock the central and rear dif in low mode it lights up on the display always wondered if there was a option for the front dif as the symbol is there 😁🤷♂️
the front locker was only available on prototype military models iirc
You can buy the switch but nothing else!
@@DarksideDevelopments there's a guy here on RUclips that's got a front locker on his, I think it's a harop front e locker. The video is pretty good, he's got a beast of a touareg

i have to 2016 audi q5 2.0 tdi and i was thinking, how can i make it more offroad worthy without ruining much the dynamics.
My first though is to put a wavetrack rear diff, which is torque diff with mechanical self locking. Then obviously skid plates and thne have a second pair of wheels, 19s with cup 4 for the road and 18s with at tires for offroad. The last thing would be to add some adaptive dampers and some bilstein offroad springs. these would lift it a bit, which would ruin the handling a bit, but with the rear diff and the adaptive dampers woul kinda make up for it. Finally some tuning would help. Since this project would take me a lot of time, i d love to see someone trying as well. The q5 is a goood all around car(pre 2017 q5 with the proper quattro, or later sq5).
Without low range and a proper centre difflock you won't make it up many steep hills so a Cayenne or Touareg is better!
@@DarksideDevelopments it has a center torcen c diff with self locking function as well. And so far without even the mods i ve mentioned before, and with shitty tires, i has made it through everything i asked just wuth the center diff and torque vectoring and off riad trqction control.
@@DarksideDevelopments cayennes and touaregs are very big, old and expensive to maintain and run in my country, and a second gen cayenne is expensive to buy second hand
Low range make a big difference but go for it!
@@DarksideDevelopments i know, but i was thinking that with a good tune, ir engine swap lol you would have enough low down diesel torque. But off course low range is crucial, but im going to go rock crawling with a q5 lol

I am looking at getting this for my petrol V6. My subframe bushes need replaced apparently so think 2 birds 1 stone. Any tips for getting the subframe bushes out as a diy mechanic with no lift??
Deffo the best time to do it, Cut them like you would a normal suspension bush and hammer out :)

@@DarksideDevelopments just out of curiosity, what tyre size were you able to move up to with the lift kit installed on the coil-sprung Treg?
Moved up to a 32.1" tyre but had to move the intercoolers slightly forward. We then went to a 33" tyre and had to swap to a front mount intercooler and chop a bit of the arch for clearance - ruclips.net/video/pO5Ejm-Qj8s/видео.html
