Nice informative video. Could you put me in touch with the gentleman who makes the reproduction seed box covers? Also, would you be interested in selling the fertilizer attachment you mentioned you have. Just bought the push version of this seeder at an auction.
I remember seeing a reproduction cover on ebay once. I don't don't who made it though. I think the same person had a few reproduction seed plates also.
There is no paint code that I know of. I used Rustoleum Fern green in the rattle can. It matched the green that I found inside the tractor wheels pretty good. It was a much better match than the recommended. Grabber Green.
VSTROM803 Okay thanks for the info. I use Duetz Allis Spring Green on my DB wheels but the old paint on the planter I have is darker. I'll try Fern green. Thanks again.
I am looking for seed plates and parts to rebuild a D.B. seeder. Would like to gain knowledge from you.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye on ebay.
Mine is missing the chain. Is this just a standard flat chain? Can you tell me the width and number of links per foot?
Pretty much the same as the Sears seeder that goes behind a garden tractor. The only difference I see is how it attaches.
What color green is that planter supposed to be? I am in the process of restoring one just like it and I'm looking for a paint code that is the same?
