  • Been wanting to do this a while....Start taking this big iron and running them back to back. NOT scientific as the chains are all with time, some more than others. Different bars. Plenty of barbed wire to ruin chains and times. AND the wood....not very regular. SO I posted the actual but general times, sort of an average. Interesting enough even with all that randomness those times actually represented the relative feel from one to the next. So while obviously not accurate, they did the job showing along with my impressions how those saws run relative to each other. BUT now my interest is peaked...you will see why if you watch, some myths are crushed. And now I want to know what I saw and felt is demonstrably true and can replicated. SO further testing will follow when I can get the time. The net is my old Bling saw beat it's way back onto the saw roster. Will reside along side my project red saws and the block and tackle 365 48mm with that VEC Popup piston sold through Lil' Red Barn. Interested? Take a look...:)

Nice video. See the wind chill is still there , my coveralls just got washed and put away who needs the weight. Just got to say, a sharp chain beats all the horse power you can throw at the wood.

Glad to see You and the Misses are doing good,
I built an 066 a couple years ago and when I tried to install the BB head stock with a base gasket it had more than head slap it was more like a door stop, so I installed the 54mm head stock with base gasket and had .018 thou squish.
As you say mine is a Beast, only thing I done was cleaned the ports and transfers up, and gasket matched the modded muffler.
I can get it started without the decomp when cold but warmed up I'm not strong enough. 😖😤
    Take Care and Stay Safe

I do roadside removals for a living and I hit barbed wire a couple times a week l. Sucks so bad especially when you get a chain perfect and it’s cutting like a dream then mayhem starts lol. I’m a serious sucker for a saw with a clamp on air filter . Great video 🌲🇺🇸🌲

Put an 8 tooth sprocket and a 20" bar and watch it eat some wood!

Funny thing about hitting fence when you dont know that you hit fence is you think the saw will cut better on the next cut but the damage is done!:)

I have my 660 in storage condition and I am running my 360 and 440 as my primary saws, right now. While the 660 cuts faster than the 360 or 440 - they are lighter and handier and are almost as fast cutting. If I could just have one saw it would be the 360. I am sorry you never got the 360 where you wanted it. It has a 20 inch Total 2 bar and LGX chain on it.

Bling saw would have started 3rd pull had you pushed the compression release, no? Good to see her back in action.
