Dave Mason is one of the greatest musicians of all time, but also one of the most unappreciated musicians of all time. I have seen Dave Mason in concert 103 times and he always puts on a great show. Thank you for the video and please continue to do more Dave Mason in the future.

The songs I also love from Dave Mason are “Shouldn’t Have Took More Than You Gave” and “World In Changes.” His songs are so emotionally charged and have a beauty to them that urges a response from the listener. Well, he gets them from me I can assure you. His guitar skills are what I would place in the “Superb But Unappreciated” category. His closing solo on “Look At You Look At Me” is so effing beautiful that I think even David Gilmour would love it.

So glad you got to Dave Mason! So, overlooked and so freaking talented! This, my friends, is what rock n roll is all about! Crisp guitar solos, great lyrics, great drums, great piano and vocals. More Mason please...he will NOT disappoint. It's a Traffic vibe. Chod, thanks for playing music from such a deep rock history. Of course if you play anything from the rock monsters you can't lose, but you find great players maybe not top 10 known but top ten talented. Mason did hit radio with "Shouldn't have Take More Than You Gave" and "We Just Disagree", which I quote from quite often. Thank you-thank you.

@@christinerobinson9372 Other way around. Delaney & Bonnie covered Dave Mason's Only You Know & I Know. Am not aware of Dave ever doing a version of Nature's Way.

@@roundabout130 I feel like I've slipped into an alternate universe. I would have sworn on a stack of bibles that Dave Mason did Nature's Way, but I can't find it. It was written by Randy California and performed by his band Spirit. I listened to the song, and the song is what I remember, but the voices, no. I could swear I've seen video of Dave Mason singing the song, but it doesn't exist. Can't find it.

It gave me a feeling of melancholy/piquancy/poignancy, weighty, meaningful, full of portent. And, yeah, sometimes crying makes you feel better afterward. It can release endorphins in your brain, your body’s own feel-good drugs.

Big fan of Dave, i’ve only heard the live version of this and that’s been decades. it’s cool that you liked this.
Normally I don’t think hits are the best songs by people but his “We Just Disagree“ I think is a beautiful tune. Possible you’ve heard it before. Some more I like are, “Don’t it Make You Wonder?”; “Searchin’”; “Words”; “No Doubt About It”; “Gotta Be on My Way”; and off his “certified live“ album, “sad and deep as you“.

GREAT Song you brought us ! Zeppelin top tier unique sound, same with Pink Floyd, Rush, Yes, Steely Dan etc etc. Dave Mason top tier with this sound, Crisp Organ, and Piano, Drums, that electric guitar, the acoustic, seemingly effortless vocals, all clear, Riffs are not Joe Satriani intense but that wouldn’t fit. Dave Mason and band do make a sound I’ve never heard anyone else make, Is there anything like it out there ? I see other comments this guy is still performing 👍 ! Top Notch, Love it, Thanks Chod !
