The car community benefitted so much from RUclips. Guys sharing knowledge just creates more knowledge that can be passed down to the next generation of car guys.
I originally found you years and years ago with a search for how to install a sunroof. I think you did a box chevy. Ive wanted to do that in every vehicle since. Keep up the inspiration, brobro!
I believe I posted a similar comment when I first saw this story a few years back. I knew I had to watch this when it started in a junkyard and you broke out the Sawzall. I thought you'd be waiting on a delivery from UPS. Great video!
I watched this when you uploaded it the first time and I sat through and watched it all over again! This is very thorough. I want to do this in my 95 Fleetwood one day.
Funny how you did all this work in under an hour I think I would've had a difficult time with even picking out what sunroof to get LOL. Its awesome watching pros like yourself & Pharraway do all these killer paint jobs & not even break a sweat or mistakes. God bless your talents & keep giving you more. Stay Safe till the next video.
Never seen someone install sunroof in a car that never had one in The privacy of their own home mad crazy skills u were born with a talent and gift to do this type of work
Simply amazing work on that sunroof hands down I have never seen anybody install a sunroof at home or seen it done this was a first for me very good information and video how you did it🤜🤛👍
I learned more about body work in this 30 minute video on how to install a custom sunroof, than I did in 3 months of research on you tube body work videos. Immaculate work my guy! Great video, very informative, very creative, and you have such hand for smooth talent!!
There is nothing to say but THANK YOU…..I stay in Baton Rouge and it’s a place called tops unlimited the want like 1500 too 2000 for sunroof I just got one from the junkyard for $80.00 and me and my brother are to install it 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿……Thanks again you’re the best
Great video and music. I'm glad to see you keep these cars looking good as I grew up with box Chevys. The first one my dad bought was a blue 1985 4 door Impala 9C1 package that was used as a detective vehicle. We would race Camaros and mustangs at red lights for fun. Watching your videos brings back a great memories.
Great Work..Most would not even tackle a project like this..you sure did a professional job on that retrofit installation..Thanks for showing Us the steps...enjoyed the vid
Great work and positivity, keep doing what you doing and influencing everyone that's watching if you can do it we can do it, that's what it's all about helping one another and learning as a whole...I got a box chevy I would love for you to paint back to its original color...love brother!
Hey what’s up fam ? Not only did you do a great job on the roof but on the electrical , drip lines you went on a step by step not like other RUclipsrs that only show before and after like they don’t want you to learn and you gonna take their Business alway from them. You a real goat 🐐 fam by the way you drop this 👑 . Thank you for your video you got a follow
Brotherman,, this is something I’ve been considering doing to my 2001 dodge van. If you remember the old skool diy sunroof kits from back in the day,, you can’t find them Anymore. This be an alternative to my dilemma,,, only other problem is around me, no shop wants to do it.
This is absolutely amazing workmanship sprayway ! you certainly have some amazing skills it’s one thing doing a job like but it’s on another level doing it making it look factory perfect. Amazing vid dude very impressive thanks for the upload 👌👍
I got an idea for a video. A video about sprayway. A little background on you. How you got started doing this type of work. Was this just a hobby that you turned into a great business or was this something you’ve always done. I watch all your videos from building the paint booth all the way to the present. I think it would be a great video just to know the journey that you have made. Just my two cents and I hope to see the video
Thank you for the video, man. I will do the same to my Volvo 740 station wagon. However I’m planning on using panoramic sunroof, but the process is the same. Cheers!
Brother as always majorly saving my life motivational.... Best content , making that life motivations content.... Salute , blessings to everyone grind and motivations......
Now that you showed us how to do the top I'm asking you if you can show us a video on how to do the inside and interior by the way thanks for the video lots of knowledge
The finish looks superb bro! As does your paintjobs. All I'd suggest is a phumatic flange and hole punch tool. This would improve the fit and finish and probably cut down on your labor and materials. Nonetheless I like what I see G. I'm considering putting a sunroof in my65impala.
Thanks for sharing your gift, and explaining how you get down, Bro.! This is awesome! I couldn't do it, but I have a 1964 Impala that I am going to have it done in. Continued Blessings to you.
Could you have just used JB weld to sit under what you grinded down around the edge of the frame? Works just like a welding machine and is just as strong and you can sand it down? Just curious
I know it's a Ford product, but 1997-2002 Lincoln Town Cars have good 2 function sunroofs that conceal underneath the roof metal and open up bigger. Just a tip, maybe a future video using one of those in a box chevy? Great video 📹 👍🏽😎✌🏽
@@SprayWayCustoms yeah I got an old 2002 town car & a 2005, both need work, but I appreciate how much quality was actually put into the cars... some of the last American frame-on type cars made.👍🏽😎✌🏽
Been hooked on your videos, great work and very well explained. Makes me want to start cutting up my ladies car lol. You definitely make it motivational to want to work on car though, keep up the great work.
What's the best adhesive to use for headliners? I have to redo my headliner. Started with some cheap stuff, was informed to use "Bodyshop" brand. Cheap glue didn't last one summer, now my headliner sagging. Suggestions?
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🔥.. Great info I've been debating for years on chopping the whole top off Lol aka (permanent convertible) on my 4 door but Now I Guess I'll be definitely putting a sunroof in my 77 Chrysler..
