Over the past few years I have been making the transition into an alternative lifestyle, from selling off most of my possessions, to buying my very first rig. I am an Eagle Scout an avid outdoorsman at heart so I have spent a lot of time out in nature and wanted to give it a shot full time. Currently my girlfriend and I are traveling the states in a 2016 Tundra with a 20’ Toy Hauler in tow, but we have plans to downsize and get a more off-road capable rig. I have spent the last 6 months working alongside the Carefree Camper Co and it was time to head out of the desert and migrate back East to spend some time with family. One of the owners of the Carefree Adventure Co, Kaleb had invited us out to the Overland Expo in Flagstaff. I wasn’t too sure at first but after a quick google I saw just how big these events were. With our original plans to head North before sweeping back home the timing worked out perfectly and we loaded up all of our belongings and met the Carefree Convoy to finish the journey. We pulled into camp after dark and next morning headed into Flag for the Expo.
I think we were all a bit overwhelmed. I had never seen so many rigs stacked up next to each other. Everything you can imagine was here at the Expo, from DIY builds all the way up to the million dollar Earth Roamer’s it was a place where like-minded people got to share their creations and bounce ideas off of each other. We spent the rest of this beautiful Saturday walking through all of the booths and talking to some of the vendors. It was awesome meeting some of you guys and girls and it was cool to finally meet some of the people I had been following on social media for years. The amount of inventions, innovation, and overall imagination of some of these people was inspiring to say the least.
We will definitely be back in the future and I hope this video shed some light on how cool this event really was.

I discovered your channel and videos after doing some research on tibial plateau fractures. I injured mine this last February after a bad ski jump landing. Had surgery with 8 screws and a plate. I just wanted to say thank you for discussing your injury and posting awesome videos of you living your best life. It’s kept me motivated to get back to my active surfing/outdoors lifestyle someday! I’m slowly getting better, but have a long ways to go. How has your knee been as of late? Hope you’re healing up well!
Hey Chance, that's awesome you found the channel. I'm sorry to hear that about your fracture, I know its a painful process to go through. You will definitely get there again just stay consistent. I still am not 100% and would like to have more range of motion than I currently have, I have a lot of scar tissue built up that needs broken loose so I try and stretch as much as possible. I appreciate you checking out the channel! 👊🏻

A lot of those setups look great, I'm pretty much doing the basic camper top this coming weekend, with the XR250 on a homemade hitch dirtbike carrier.
