To be fair, thats more due to being a little too true to the original which was massively limited by the technology of its time. IRL most of this could be smoothed out. Its also a consequence of being made planet coaster instead of say, NoLimits 2 that has better design software for smoothness
Another super iconic replica from RCT1, you should do more of these, not only would a series of videos like that generate some traffic, but they are also a nice reference for how technology progressed over the years.
I love this. You made my day. As a child this was my favorite prebuilt coaster. I would watch it for hours and marveled at how unique it was. So cool to see it modernized.
My only critique is that the Looping SLV design is what was used in RCT 1. Not the Arrow Looper (Corkscrew) design. But other than that, I was super thrilled to see these recreated. They were the best coasters.
@@electrollama2127 I found that comment shortly after making this one. Guess now the junior coaster is the only one missing from Diamond Heights, minus the log flume and wild mouse.
I would have loved this if my OCD wasn't constantly reminding me that you used Vekoma/Arrows track to remake a coaster that is originally a Schwarzkopf
I remember I used to play all the time as a super young kid. So I never beat it. I was playing a couple years ago and determined. After 1 fail, I tried again. I was literally like 3 days away from accomplishing the goal, AND THE GAME FREAKING CRASHED! And of course I am not a frequent saver😑😅
As mentioned in other comments, I was unaware that one of the DLCs contained the Schwartzkopf trains. This was the closest vanilla coaster type I could use that had reverse incline mode for testing.
Favorite detail is Agoraphobia arriving before Claustrophobia, just like the original- thanks for making this!
Imagine the roughness if those coasters were made IRL with arrow track. All the awkward banking and twists what a treat😅

the looping coaster in RCT is based on schwarzkopf track so it'd be smoother

You never realize how quirky transitions can be on RCT coasters until you try to recreate them in Planet Coaster.
I never thought about it that claustrophobia is mostly underground
I only realized much later how he incorporated the 2 diseases into the game.
The whole game was simply well thought out.
Full of love.
So cool! The nostalgia hits hard. Lol. You just gave me a great idea in recreating rct parks in pc though, so that's exciting.
Absolutely love it, great job!
Nice to see how the park seems much more lively and warm in RCT4 (Planet Coaster) than in RCT1
Well done ! And of course Claustrophobia looks way scarier...

Like I said in the other comments, I didn't know there was a DLC that had the correct train at the time I made it.
But thanks, glad you like it

Oh wow, you did this one too!!? 😱😍😍😍
This is so cool I grew up playing RollerCoaster tycoon never thought to look up the old maps and coasters remastered in planet coaster
The famous Crashing Coasters!
station brake failures💀
Now there is just one question, both of em are known for crashing fast. Which one will do it faster
Great work
But that's arrow track, not schwarzkopf track 😭
I didn't have that DLC, nor was I aware there was one with that coaster type.
I only wish the camera was steady on the coasters
Sorry, I was trying to counter-act the track movement to give a more steady view, but I over-did it in this video.
awesome
:D now i realise why i need near by those coasters so many Handymen, becauce almost everybody pukes after this ride. :D
It’s not the right coaster type but it’s fine the right coaster type would be the looping coaster aka S.L.V
I didn't have that DLC or know that train type existed in one.
They’re great! However I always thought that they were Schwarzkopf loopers?
See other comments. I don't have the DLCs, but if I knew one of them had that style train, I might have gotten it.
@@electrollama2127 one of them does actually
Fake! They didn't crash.
Amazing recreation!
It's not the real Diamond Heights coasters unless they often crash and kill everyone on board.
I would have loved this if my OCD wasn't constantly reminding me that you used Vekoma/Arrows track to remake a coaster that is originally a Schwarzkopf
Hey everyone
It bothers me that you didn't use the S.L.V. for this rather than the corkscrew coaster model
I found out about that coaster type after, since I don't own any DLC. Would have been worth the purchase.
@@electrollama2127 I didn't realize it was a DLC item. I thought it was an update addition.
Your a legend
how not to make a pov: look around constantly
Yeah I figured it would look less jerky, but I learned my lesson for my second video.
@@electrollama2127 noice
No, sorry, 3D is not better.
Fucking hate diamond heights. Love this build

RCT: "This is a Schwarzkopf coaster."
RUclipsr: "Nope! It's an Arrow Looper."
