I used to drive a 143 quite a few years ago now, running mushrooms out of Monaghan and over the water to England. I liked the 4Series and the FH too, travelled all of Europe in them :-)
My mate's 113M has the 4 corner airbag cab suspension - like all 3 Series Scanias had! Didn't have me bum all the way down in the seat before he moved off.... back of the cab came up - 2" off kissin' the dashboard!
Funny you should talk about Scania's 11# series - # being a wildcard entry to cover all series with the 11 litre engine! - I almost got spat out the windscreen of a mate's R113M - forgot the cab was on airbags and almost had me butt in the seat before he moved!

Legend 143. When i start driving my first fruck was Scania 112H 6x2 Next truck then was Scania 113H 380 6x2 and next was Scania 143H 470 8x2 with straight pipe.:) Now my own hobby and treasure is Scania T113H 360 6x4(found video to my own channel).
You should come to the States and run with the big boys darlin...nothing like coming down out of the back woods of Maine behind the wheel of a Kenworth W900 pushing over 500 horses with a Caterpillar or Detroit under the hood and pulling 100,000 pounds of logs behind you...
alot of people here talking havent a clue about trucks. i tink if you pulled the plug it would do alot more than 56 ya noob. the 3 series scania is the best. i would'nt go near another 4 series. they fall apart.
@DarrenCelicaGT4 It was also much more reliable than 4 serie. If could get new 3-serie Scania, I would buy it. So much better was 3-serie. 4-sedrie should have same gear-box than 3-serie. My 3-serie was drived 1 665 000 km when I was selling it not opened gearbox, not rear axle. Now my 4-serie, 990 000 gearbox open, and now its driven 1 157 000 km, rear axle is making noise. So more bad quality, with 4-serie.
