I visited several Canary Islands and Gran Canaria has some beaches that are quite good but I was disappointed because it is a very desert island. The mountains look very dry. I have visited La Palma or La Gomera and they are very exuberant. Tenerife was the one that I found most beautiful and complete. In addition to beaches, it has beautiful forests and many interesting places with history to visit, although they all have their charm.
