hello I have error 5d51 Dynamic drive fault. Supply pressure sensor HA, do you have any idea which sensor it should be from and where it is located? Thank you
Hoping you can help--I've got a 2011 BMW X5 E70 35i, today the dreaded "Dynamic Drive Malfunction" warning appeared on my iDrive dash. I pulled a code using Carly and it is: 006273. Further info was provided, it read; "Pre-drive check; FS Okay, VA and RA Valve is energized open". Any idea what this means? I'm hoping it means my DD Valve block is OK!! I have full (but old) power steering fluid and a good battery. Some advice I'm seeing recommends flushing and filling the CHF11S Pentosin fluid from the top reservoir, which I can do easily. Does that code and message hold any meaning for you? Thank you in advance for any advice!!
Hey George, you replaced the old valve block with a used one? why do you know, if the old one is not faulty? i replaced already my battery, swapped the hydraulic liquid tank(there is a filter inside) and my hydraulic pump to a brand new one, i still have the issue. so on my E63 it can only be the valve block or a controller unit (apologizes for my english). have you made a diagnostic? do you get a eco valve error?
Are there bleed screws on the anti-roll bars? I agree with the comment to clear the codes, then bleed any component you can, then open the reservoir and go lock-to-lock several times with the engine running. Finally, top off and put the reservoir cap on again. Getting the air out is a challenge with this system, and you let a lot in doing this swap.
@@GeorgeAusters Unfortunately, I never had a chance to work on Dynamic Drive so I can't help you further George. In does make for good RUclips content though.
so how did the story end...and hoping it did. Valve block was a no go from your video. You had the roll bar and power steering reservoir on stand by. and ultimately the power steering pump possibility. I am getting the 5D5B front axle pressure build up warning on my 2006 530i. But not the rear axle. So with your experience, i have no idea where to begin!?! Is there anything with the code reads that could narrow it down? thanks
@@frederiquekruger4818 i havent had a chance to get it fixed yet as dont want to spend the money right now. car is driveable and DD is just inactive. i believe my issue is definitely electronic (ie ARS module) and not mechanical. More recently, my display screen will randomly shut off and reboot and then the DD warning will pop up.
George, if ISTA detects an error in the car click on the error and ISTA will give you pretty detailed instructions on how to resolve the issue. Have you tried that? Anyway good luck!
Nice when things finally get sorted out .
Just a shame it isn’t sorted yet
LOVE this series. Your channel is very underrated
Appreciate that man!

Excellent mate. Keep going don't let it beat you. Enjoying your channel. Stay safe be lucky
Cheers mate!

Damn, don’t you hate it when that happens. Keep going 👍🏻
Will do thanks man!
hi George do you have a code that it's giving you I'll check the wiring diagram for you incase it's a power or earth /can issue
Hi George
Great videos.
My e84 (n47) keeps stressing me out after 100,000 km.

Yeah that doesn’t do anything unfortunately
Have you tried clearing the code and then see if it comes back on ?
Yes many times
@13:00 looks like those headlights need programming
Are you using ISTA+? Have you looked at the test plan for the system?
Yes and yes, it just says it could be either the valve block, the pump or the front anti roll bar

Think I may have sorted it now!
u have to program it to the car

What did your issue end up being?

Yes it basically says it’s either the valve block, the pump or the sway bar. Will be changing the sway bar next
@@GeorgeAusters Ok George, that will be another intresting video.
Does PAS feel heavy?
Nope feels very light
my e65 730d does feel heavy! will it be the tandem pump?
I’d start with reservoir
Will be doing that soon
🙌🏼
I think your problem is going to be the ARS module. Be sure to code a replacement properly to your car or the same error will keep coming back.
Where is the ARS module located?
Change over th wiring you ere not sure of?
Don’t think it’s that as that would show a different error
Sway bar not leaking?
It is slightly yes
@@GeorgeAusters might be able to glue it. They leak then disable themselves. Mine worked for a bit sporadically then stopped altogether
@@leenevin8451 Yeah I made a video resealing one I removed from my parts car, will be installing it next
Is this expensive get fix
Not for a used part
