Ah yes, the elusive and mysterious Glushovka...
All respect to almighty Steve Vai, but if there’s a rendition of Paganini’s 5th Caprice without any BS, it’s gotta be this one. BRAVO!
The best alternate picking in the world
And best left hand finger independence and technique. Just incredible.
With Rick Graham and Kiko Loureiro
@@mutantkoffee They are awesome, too, but no, Anton is a class of its own.
Paul Gilbert is the best
@@nispvlcc1276 Gilbert is great, Oparin is another animal. Though you can clearly see that Oparin is a hide Gilbert fan.
You are great! Greetings from Yngwie former drummer.
Fire and Ice album?
@@douglasnisbet1189 Eclipse, and instrumental on Fire&Ice Leviathan.
@@michaelvonknorring735 awesome. Back when Yngwie had a proper band with world class musicians! Not like the last decade...
@@michaelvonknorring735 Eclipse is such an underrated album. Your work was solid!
Thanks @@sergeyv4908
I am a violinist and this is so much better than I could have possibly imagined it would be on any other instrument. Holy shit your clarity, musicianship, speed, and tone are just.
Incredible
When I was a young guitarist, I thought nobody could be able to play this piece. You made it... respect... and bravo, as we say in France. :)
That speed, accuracy, dynamics...
Paganini would be so proud of you in the hell
Hell ?

Best version of this I’ve ever heard on guitar. Fantastic job!
Absolutely nailed it.

The Internet can't kick my ass. I'm safe.
The Internet:
Anton Oparin has entered the chat room
I would like you to go someday to the United States and visit Troy Grady, he invited to you to talk with him
you speak english very well :D
You are the best guitarrist of the world for me. Your right hand is amazing.
That would be awesome!!!
fuck his left hand is amazing too...
but you live in the dark continent monkaS
Troy Grady!
ARE YOU LISTENING?!
Anton's right hand is a machine gun
Incredible playing, I am still processing what I just saw. Your picking is effortless and elegant. Your control of the tempo and dynamics really adds to the playing - there are lots of fast players, but it often feels robotic. Wow, I can’t say enough good things about this. And the tone is clean enough to really keep the playing sharply in focus, nothing hiding, no tricks, just razor sharp playing from start to finish. Thanks and regards! Jz
With eyes freakin closed! Damn
This guy is an absolute monster that seems to have beat the game known as "guitar". First of all there are maybe a handful of people who can do one-note-per string alternate picking (used to be only Steve Morse), including this guy. Not only that, he has full control of the dynamics of playing (very difficult to do on guitar), and can play at probably 300bps+ with 100% accuracy. I don't know if there's a single piece of music out there on any instrument that he wouldn't be able to cover. I've played guitar for close to 20 years and this guy's skill is about as close to a machine as I've ever seen. Virtuoso among virtuosos. Superhuman beyond imagination.
There’s sweeping in this arrangement
When god wants to improve his picking technique, he takes lessons from Anton Oparin.
Super precise and snappy. Must have been playing over 5 hours a day for awhile. At the original and intended tempo of 160bpm. Most classical players play it at 133. Good show!
So much musicality in your performance!
Holy crap I can't believe you pulled this off so well- not even too much gain on it. I love you're staccato muting too- the dynamics are just perfect. This sounds so true to the violin version- I just didn't believe it would be possible with the leaps and no bow to pull this difficult of a piece off this well on guitar. I mean Eliot Fisk does a great job and is very impressive on classical with all 24 caprices- but this is at a different level and I prefer it greatly.
While this is a more “fun” rendition for myself as well, saying it is “on a different level” to Eliot Fisk is just crazy IMO. I’ve been a professional electric guitarist for a while (20+ years) and I studied classical guitar in college. It’s a different skillset, but I could at least dream of covering this rendition, where Fisk’s version is something I still can’t believe is possible, even for him.
There are great and incredible alternate picking guitar players, but Anton is the best, I haven't seen anyone playing these incredibly difficult themes with such a effortless technique.
He brutally mogs every last one of these so-called virtuosos. Lmfao
Indeed, Anton is the absolute best. No one is even close. I am almost completely recovered from focal dystonia, so I will signup to his Guitar academy pretty soon.
Agree. Anyway please also check out Roy Marchbank, it wil blow you away 😅
@@ariehandoko6806 lmao Anton once laughed in his academy chats on Roy, cause Roy fakes his playing, he isn't actually playing that fast, he just moves fingers on the fretboard and his fingers aren't playing notes that you hear in his videos lol. Anton is a real guitarist and Roy is just a fraud lol
@@leeberkins4929 so how about the live streaming? Is it also fake? Dont get me wrong, Anton is also my favorite guitarist.
A whole lot different than the movie Crossroads. Way better and flawless as well as the actual piece, not all chopped up and made for hollywood. Me bowing down to you!
dude what the, your syncopation between left and right hand is incredible. not a single bum note. the pick is perfectly scraping, your twist technique is perfect. incredible technique my friend
Your picking is absolutely insane
i gotta sign up man this guy is incredible i just dont have the time now
Make time.
Saving up to join your school. The playing is mindblowing, but Jesus, the dynamics!! Absolutely top-tier musicianship. World class level.
I remember spending time with you and your father at West LA Music in Los Angeles with Gary Kramer Guitars and Leo Scala. It was an incredible show of talent. So glad you're still doing it!

BRAVO!!
Maravilhoso ❤❤❤,,👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
