I’m always glad to see a new video from you, and enjoy the glimpses into your world, but I can only imagine how much time it takes to create each one of them. My career was in television and I created hundreds of 30 & 60 minute programs where each one took literally hours to edit and finish. We’ve all been conditioned to be attracted to 3 to 12 minute RUclips videos, but content and intent always dictate the length. There are a ton of longer videos that could have been much shorter, and oftentimes some shorts that might benefit from being a little longer. So please, you do you and just know that most viewers will be pleased with whatever you have to share. Thanks!
Whoa I can only imagine the wealth of knowledge you must have with that much television experience. It is all about discernment and doing what’s best for me on this channel. That is how I try to move so thank you for that important reminder. I appreciate your insight!
Yay for 3… I don’t have notifications turned on and don’t visit the shorts tab. That’s just me, I know im an outlier. I will go and look for and at the shorts u did last month as a “body of work” rather than how I usually perceive that format which is “random stuff”. (And drop a ton of likes on them to feed the algo 🤭) Again, just my perception/bias - I’d never want anyone to think I’m telling them how they should curate their creative output! I was watching this as you started and going “don’t burn out, don’t burn out, please don’t burn out” so was to hear your reasons and thoughts and learnings. Hope that you get productive encouragement from this; I’m thinking it may take less physical and technical effort to produce and publish a “journaling” vid, but for me it would come with heightened emotional risk. I’d expect (if I ever had the courage to put anything out here) folk to critique my creativity, but please leave my thought processes alone! Love hearing you; you’re thoughtful and talented - and your cadence is relaxing. Stay excellent.
