Outstanding, thank you. I am going to Peru, Bolivia and Chile next March, so any videos on South America are a great find. I like how varied this video was, so much to see and do.

I did my Lares Trek with G Adventures as well way back 2019. Thank God I decided to take that trip before the pandemic hit...Rainbow Mountain was pretty much challenging in all the hikes. Even the Humantay Lake wasnt easy... We did different route with Lares Trek because that time it was not safe for the orginal route to take...Instead we climbed two summits which was pretty awesome.
Thank you! Choquequirao is great, I did that hike 4 years ago and filmed it (video quality is a bit embarrassing): ruclips.net/video/j6s6g8bT9tM/видео.html
Really awesome video! It's informative, has a lot of facts and useful info, and also has nice scenery montages and time-lapses. I really enjoyed it and it didn't make me at all to want to skip forward (which i usually do)
I'm glad you liked the food, friend, but if you ever come back I'd recommend you try some of the smaller, cheaper restaurants around. The big places with shows are tourist traps. They overcharge and usually don't put too much effort into their food.
This video is spectacular , great quality and informative ! I would love to know about camera gear and other equipment (packs etc) that you used . I am really wanting to do expore Peru and rediscover myself 😇. Sadly I need to find a way to afford an adventure like this 😕
1 tip from a Peruvian. you can have a better ceviche in Lima. while staying at Cuzco, try to have something from the Andes, or "pizzas artesanales" which are really good.
Hi Steve your video is great! It's informative. One question about Lares Trek with G Adventures. If anyone has a checked luggage, I don't think that checked luggage with stay with you for the entire duration of this trip? How is that handled?
Hey Chris, thanks! Regarding the luggage: they have a locked storage room at the hotel where you start and finish your trip...you also get an own duffel bag from G Adventures where you put all the stuff you need for the tour (this one will be transported by the donkeys).
Great Video! Did you try a Cuy? (Guinea pig) I felt like I had to- The place where I got it was an amazing restaurant by the entrance to the zoo. We drank coke mixed with cusequanca beer (sp?)and it was mildly horrifying to have this little carcass staring at me with it's burnt eye sockets from my plate. I was surprised how good it was. I hiked from Machu Picchu down the rail trail for a while and caught rides up to Quillabamba. (the waterfall is beautiful) There is a ton of stuff to see, and I will be back!
really fantastic video with lots of useful information, quick question, did you do the raimbow mountain train on your own? without any local guide? I'm planning to do peru this late summer and try to organise myself.. cheers mate awesome video..
...I took part in a tour which I booked through my hostel - this meant transportation, vreakfast and entrance fee were included but once there they let me explore by myself which was good. You can usually book it in agencies all over Cusco for the next morning (make sure to acclimatize before!)
Deine Videos sind echt gut gemacht! :D Freut mich immer wieder. Ich hätte da trotzdem noch ein kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag: evtl. 2 Teile zu machen. 20 Minuten strecken sich schon :D
Most of the temples or places that charge money, are usually free after all the tourists have gone, for example 4 or 5pm. also some places have scabs that stand near the toilets and ask for money for you to use them, Its up to you but i usually go piss on a tree rather than pay some lazy bum. hahaha but sometimes they will give you toilet paper which is a number one to bring in peru, even if you take some from your hotel, keep it on you as its hard to find in some places. Also they dont flush the paper, you put it in a bin so enjoy that suprise.
Thanks for pointing that out...I try to improve with every video I produce. The Lares Trek is round about 700-800€ for the full package including MP, all meals, porters, transport, guides and accommodation.

Private tours are the only way to go.
Video good but background music too loud and sudden. How much did g adventure charge for this adventure tour...✌️🌹😊
