Yes to the pocket monthly arrangement. Yes to the over-priced Midori MD pen look and fit. Yes to Lady Agnew of Lochnaw (hangs in the National Gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh, my home town). Yes to cats (plural), of course…and to kindred spirituality!
Always kitties first! Giovanni is absolutely delicious, it is wonderful! While I couldn't use pocket for journaling, it's a wonderful size because it has so many possibilities because of it's portability.
I love love love pocket size! Thanks for sharing your setup. I agree pet pictures are essential. I also fell for the hobonichi hype but realize I don't need a full year in one book and don't want to carry it around all the time. It's funny you say pocket feels a bit small. I used to journal and plan in a discbound micro but that felt too small!
I'll need to set up a little photoshoot for my cats to get them all in one pic lol. Yeah, since posting this video (and a more recent one where I show my wallet quickly) I've found I'm just not keeping up with the calendar in my wallet. So I think I might eventually take it out, and if I need to write down dates I can just do it in the notes notebook and then transfer it to the calendar I keep on my desk, which I sit at every single day anyway so there's no missing it. I can't imagine doing anything in a micro size lol. I tried journaling in a B6 for a bit, but eventually I just couldn't take it anymore and switched back to my beloved A5 haha.
JUDAS PRIEST! I saw that and I wholeheartedly pray to the same priest 🤘🏽

Nice set up! I've been on an A4 notebooks kick lately, but sometimes I wonder about going back to pocket size 🤔
