The movie told everything from jokers perspective. he isnt just a physcopath laughing all the time, he is human too. he became what he is today because in his perspective, society is the bad guy, and sometimes, its like that in real life. for example, he always looked up to murray, but when he met him and told him his jokes, he realized they werent laughing with him, they were laughing at him. while it was wrong to just shoot him, murray deserved it. joker deserves more respect.
