I think a critical video that you should make that would be an ENORMOUS HELP is which enemies are vulnerable to which weapons and which are resistant to each weapon type. I'm sure this would be a very time consuming video to research but would be well received by your viewers.😁

chain heal does have an eternal version, it costs something like 10 bottles from the alchemy station. its sooooo much cheaper to make than the eternal heal channel. i remember the crafting recepie for it is like a whole tier below the eternal channel
The Lumenshade Axe is another good option for this build since it adds +40% retaliation damage when fully enhanced.
Good video, been using a similar build ever since game came out, there is in fact eternal chain heal and heal one, also Im using rings other than yours, 30% more mana and 30 health, also using sage's chest for 96% more healing, still testing around what works best for me but every thing is mostly easy :)

I just figured out that the sage armor's %healing effects +health regeneration. Stacking both makes you pretty much immortal I think.

im not sure how i ggot it but i have eternal for both healing spells ( channel and chained ) that i can make at the alchemist. Im thinking it was an auto unlock when i got an item... maybe antiseptic.as thats one of the ingredieents fot it. antiseptic, tin bars, fossilized bone, and charcoal.

@@Mordarim Sounds like it, i got the recipie when i found a tin bar out in the world. Maybe you have not picked one up and thats the trigger missing to unlock it. not just make tin bars.
This happens with the rake as well once you unlock the scrappy rake.
Do swords with elemental damage count as magical weapons. For example the fire axe does it proc those skills?
this build looks great I wanted to be a healer but get 1 hit by pretty much anything so I'm being resurrected more than I'm healing ;( .... instead of taking stupid times to get dried berries farm strawberries it's so much faster and at lvl 15+ I don't see nearly as many berries as I do strawberries

@@Mordarim Pillars of Creation central of the map there is a Flame Sanctum under the research camp. There is a contruction tower where you can go up with your grapling hook. There is the golden chest with that weapon.

I'm basically striving to do that kind of build with my character, but i'm dropping all strength and melee nodes for wand ones. BTW, how do you feel about the last perk of the healer tree ? It gives +1 intelligence for every flame altar level. Is it worth the investment ?
I've been avoiding it because it costs 5 points for up to 3 int. Max lvl fire is currently lvl 6. Maybe once the fire can get around lvl 10 so you get a 5 int boost for 5 skill points. Make uhh ghost soup or goo soup or something like that, 5 int + 60 shroud resist, and you can get a +5 con +1 int meat. You'll be over 100% bonus and acid spew will absolutely disintegrate anything that takes a direct hit
It's also bugged (at least for me) and only increases my attributes by two regardless of my flame being maxed out.
please make a video showing the location of all elixir wells and shroud roots so we can grab all the talent points :) thank you!

I have basically beat the game, I've done every quest, every steam achievement, every level, and every shroud root and elixir well but somehow I'm missing 4 talent points that he isnt missing.

"Oh boi, I tried making the merc character. without magic and water aura. This is rough. Why is the first attack of a heavy 2h weapon an overhead narrow af downward swing. Every attack is so slow. Sustain is non-existent, most enemies attack faster than 1 single hit of your weapon. There is also not a single gauntlet with 2h dmg on it. I just can´t publish this. This feels awful to play, is unsatisfying, unrewarding, and just plain bad. Yes, I could slap water aura on it and brute force some cool clips, but that would in no way reflect what this build is truly about. Getting your shit pushed in in 200 different ways. They seriously need to redesign this weapon type. And there is also arrow farming which is insanely timeconsuming."
It sucks. You basically only do jump attacks and make enemies suffer a slow painful death. I will wait for them to fix that weapon type first before i touch it again
I need 1 more point i only have 113 skill points and i have no idea where the last root is you should make a video with all the root and elixir wells locations
You find full map from google, but if you want to find it yourseld, you can check achievements and check what area you are missing roots. Then look for ?rings or black areas you have yet to explore.

I think they are rarity icons which you can open in setting. More diamonds = higher rarity. I just look at the colours tho

It sounds like Shroud Weaver was just nerfed, can't get 62 power version anymore. At least, maybe, until more content is released.

no, this is a just a variation of the same build tbh. You can do full int Mage with least spirit with those 2 mana reg rings. More health regen is overall better, but you become God anyway mid game so it doesnt matter. Stun on crit is super OP with terror.
I’m trying to figure out the two perks in the magic tree that boost shroud damage 10% with one and next is additional 20%.
I’ve only found one magical weapon that does shroud damage, a crap axe and to my knowledge only the shroud comet is only magic that does it. I don’t think I’ve seen a wand either.
Just seems like a waste considering there’s only 2 ways to cause shroud damage and the magical casting way you can’t craft the charges nor is there an eternal version
there is a wand with shroud dmg max level and legendary (100%) cuz i have it also there is a level 25 legendary sword with shroud too since i have that too
also shroud meteor can be crafted
Too many mobs immune to the damage type. Meteor has the hilarious side effect of trapping any melee players in a pit along with a boss or green axe HASAN CHOP guy. You will not be popular amongst your peers lol. Fireball crits for 1700 regularly and over 2k on fire weak mobs like the chewbaccas. Plus it's range is intense. Fireball, acid spray and maybe your chain heal. I carry icebolt as well to shoot triggers with but once you get the 20% mana regen ring you can get rid of that too

I went into warrior tree to get the dodge leap and down to quicker attacks.
On magic side, I buffed wands, converted dodge to blink and picked up stun escape and the fire damage to blink. (Get the shockwave and fire damage on blink attack). Boosted fire damage and magic crit.

You should use the Gemini Ring instead of the Ring of Endless Life. It's 5% life leech and +10 mana.

still good. water aura is jsut one aspect of the build. plenty of other bonuses. thing is all water aura classes are now twchnically jsut as strong as each other as before the nerfs, since every build that uses water aura got the same nerf. so technically youll be fine still and its still worth having. especially with extra talents that increase healing done.

How do u get the infinity symbol for spells like he has?
They're eternal spells. Some can be found but I think most are crafted by the alchemist.
So I see the spellbinder boots are level 23, can they still drop from those gold chests in the desert?
Thats a very good point. I can drop in the 25 area. Not in the 30 area.

Sorta feels like at this point half your builds aren't really anything to do with what you describe, rather just some form of semi magical person using the same stuff over and over.
A "meta" build with slightly different flare if you will.

Wait that's actually busted if Radiant Aura counts as a Magical Weapon in terms of passives with it being able to crit. That seems unintended.
EDIT: After some testing Radiant Aura is capable of critting but it does not appear to gain any bonus from Magical Critical Strike chance (like that found on mage helmets) or the passive Wizard (that grants 10% critical strike chance to magical weapons). Furthermore, Radiant Aura alone does not trigger Chain Hit, Mass Destruction, Bloodletting, or Life Burst passives. Based on this evidence I think it's accurate to say Radiant Aura does NOT count as a Magical Weapon.

also imperative to mention always that flame 6 is requiered tho always at the beginning of your guides so people now in advance if they are new, I have my flame at level 5, need to figure it out where to farm the rest as I already have the head of the hunted sun temple dude.
I actually marked it with a yellow circle and wrote chest besides it. It has a separate timestamp
For this chest you do not need Flame6, you can get there at flame 2

It's a good build, but I wouldn't call it a paladin. The melee points seem kind of an afterthought. You barely use your melee, and a paladin is usually a melee support tank type
I should have shown gameplay without the poison spell. I think this was definitely the wrong choice for gameplay. The actual build works really well with just your melee attacks + lightblast and fireball spells.
I will add to this cause I keep seeing people use it, the flame aura is horrible. The damage is pitiful and you have to be in harms way to even use it. Why do 36/s damage when you can just use a spell and triple those numbers? The points that go into flame aura are much better invested in updraft and the -30% stamina cost for gliding. When used in conjunction with two rings of repacity and some endurance buff food you can fly for a very long time to basically anywhere and it comes online super early in the game. With an added bonus of using the Hawk Chest for an additional stamina cost reduction for gliding that you can just equip anytime you're about to go for flight.
This is just a mage in heavy armor lol
I would love to be playing Enshrouded, but I can't playing with the game making my 3080 run hot while at 98% GPU.

Probably not. Though I've seen some videos of crazy archer things...but they still seem outshined by magic.
Still fucked up and no end in sight. I'm not bashing Mordarim, he's doing what he can with the current state of the game. All build creators are just building slightly modified mages and calling them warriors, paladins, and rangers. At their core, it's just a mage. This game is so busted it isn't even funny.

It really is. I was talking to a friend about it and we decided they need to nerf it, or make it scale with heavy intelligence investment. He was playing a build with next to no intelligence and was still one shotting stuff with it x.x

Agreed. Horribly over tuned along with water aura.
The build works perfectly fine with just fireballs and light blasts combined with melee attacks. You do not need to use the acid spell. I should have highlighted this instead of the obviously broken acid carpet.
Wonderful thing about video games, you can just play whatever you’d like.
@Mordarim I don't agree with what they say though. You used multiple spells, it's not like there's a giant selection of spells on this game anyways. You shouldn't just not showcase a spell because it's the strongest. In a game where you need to have a good mix of ranged and melee it's kind of obvious to use what would help you clear content. Some people just find things to complain about for no reason.
Such a shame that melee builds are so under powered that everything viable is mage-centric. Feels really unbalanced atm
Tanky mage is so busted it makes melee look like crap, archers have some ranged advantage but thats it. I have no idea why you would ever group up for anything in this game.
