Preview: W1AW/8 Ohio Activation at Radio KD8TTE

ARRL has declared 2023 to be Year of the Volunteer. Raising awareness and affording an opportunity to operate, W1AW portable stations are operating throughout the US all year.
On the morning of Thursday, August 30, 2023, I will be operating as W1AW/8 from Ohio on FT8, 80m.
I hope this preview inspires you to make contact with me as W1AW/8 between 0900 and 1059Z (that's 0500 and 0659 Eastern Time). I'll be gathering information during my operation to make a new video discussing Year of the Volunteer, the W1AW portable activations, and my experience on the air. Join me on this epic adventure!
