Maybe even a before and after dyno run? or lets see the runs your putting this head on and and see what this 1000 does, after your magic touch?

Question will the 2017 gsxr 1000 head fit on the 05-08 gsxr 1000. Has anybody looked into this application 🤔 if you could then im thinkimg you can use a standalone ecu system too control the VVT cams

No. The cylinder c-c is bigger on the 2017-2022 heads. You can use the 09-16 head though, you just have to relocate the oil drainage from the head.
