I'm a Nichiren Daishonin Buddhist. I've been chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo since 2006 and i've have been an SGI-UK member since 2007. I'm Autistic with ADHD, and the chanting videos help me in my daily practice.
I created this channel to help us all in our Buddhist practice, with audio to chant along to, Buddhist Study - my take on Basics Of Buddhism & The Gosho - as well as Inspirational Quote Shorts Videos, my monthly podcast, Daily Gongyo live feed & videos which show an insight into my life - me being silly, more often than not :)
Another passion of mine is both listening to, and making music. I have a synth set-up and love creating instrumental electronica music. Both of my other channels are where i showcase the music that i create. @ThePowerOfSerenity is where i post videos of the same songs i have on streaming services such as Spotify, and @LandOfTranquilLight for longer, more relaxing versions.

Jyoti Aggarwal, Yes, fatith,practice and study is the key. Chanting can change your life in ways that one would not expect. Chanting will turn poison to medicine!!! At times it’s really difficult to continue, but one can always begin again. Nichiren said,”it’s easy to except but hard to continue.” That is so true! When life is beating you up, it seems as though it’s not worth it to continue. Once you learn Nichiren Buddhism at some point you will begin again. There’s no greater happiness than chanting NMRK!!! That’s written in the Gosho!!! I do enjoy listening and participating on this channel! I have hope again. I wish for all humanity to have good health, long life and absolute happiness 😊 please, include me in your prayers that I NEVER GIVE UP!🙏

Hi Nigel, I have just started using your videos to chant with and am finding them really powerful to chant with other voices. I didn’t realise how much I have been missing this during the lockdown. Just a question about the prayers, is it 3nmhrk between the start of each prayer?

Hi fellow Buddha. Welcome from Brixton. Thank you for your question. The 3 NMRKs between the prayers are called Sansho, which we tend to do after each prayer, as well as starting and finishing Daimoku. Hope that helps. Please ask more questions in order to clarify if you wish.

Apologies, Joanne. I've only just seen this. I used the video editor that came with my laptop - should be standard on your pc if you have one. If not there are loads of free video editors out there. I paid for mine but a basic free one will be available online for sure :)
