Watching you play this round almost made me miss living in that area (I grew up in Downers Grove); I say almost because of the opening and closing scenes in your snowy backyard!
Glad to see that you are not infallible MSH. Glad to see you laughing at yourself after a wayward tee shot. Sure beats getting mad! Thanks for the video.
Great greenery , background music and round of golf . Larry travelled a ways . I’d watch him and you both play unless the video is constrained for time. Looking forward to spring and more of your videos MSH .
We're looking out our window at snow too, sooo glad you were able to recover this footage, gives us hope that summer will come. Just found your channel... refreshing! You're having fun, you don't get worked up and your shots are amazing, so smooth. It'd be fun to know what hitting from the fairway 90% of the time feels like but the trees would get lonely if I started doing that. :) Thanks for the content and we'll keep watching and trying to figure out how you do what you do and do so well!
I thought I was gonna see some bad golf after that description!😂 If I shot 1 under, I'd title it "Best round ever!" Keep doing what you're doing MSH! A joy to watch!
Covered in snow here too. So glad you recovered these videos. Very relaxing to watch and even warmed the house a few degrees with your August golf! Keep 'em coming please!
Tempo tempo tempo, yours is amazing sir . I'm super jealous. I'm right or left, I know what I'm doing but I can't seem to fix it. Enjoyed you're round.
"Chicago Sevie," those first couple holes. 15-16 were fun . Snowing here, pretty well, you'll probably get this storm this weekend. Something we all should learn on the course.. patience. If not humility
Well done, brother. Great video and great round of golf. Glad you finally warmed up on the 17th hole, but those of us who are over 50. It does take a few holes to warm up for sure. Great round.
I want to thank you for solidifying some basics: Is the hole really a par hole, or bogey? ID hazards Keep the damn ball in play No hero shots Club up Forget the ego
MSH- we have the same challenge in lower DE as you- SNOWx 2 this week and COLD! Awesome playing! You showed how when maybe not striking driver perfectly you can still score!-1 is one HECKAVA round and you did it effortlessly! Maybe an alternate title is “Great Short Game and AWESOME lag putting” makes golf much easier! Stay warm and enjoy ur content! Brian
Your back yard looks familiar. We are getting nailed with snow right now. Your last video you put out in shorts... thanks for the explanation. Now... onto fighting the driver. A place we have all been
MSH. I noticed you putt often from on the fringe or even little farther away. Is there a reason for not chipping? Advantages? I love using my 38* chipper/putter. I do wonder why I never see a chipper/putters used. Thanks 😎
I learned as a kid that a bad putt was better than a bad chip. Therefore, I putt whenever I can. Most people's worst chip is a missed green. I've never missed the green with a putter. With all that being said, if chipping works better for you stick with it. Everyone is different.
Super golf MSH. A great putt on the 14th(?). Nice to see some blue skies. I haven’t checked to see if you’ve done one recently, but how about a WITB as it’s too snowy to play golf? BTW, you’ve got a BIG back garden (as we say this side of the pond)
My dream is to be able to hit it as straight and consistent as you. Then, if I could also reduce self-inflicted penalty shots I might be able to actually post decent scores. Must feel great to shoot a par round, especially as often as you do.
Come on, man! At least your main hard drive needs to be backed up on the cloud. Glad it was resolved though, hopefully you learned your lesson, ha. Subscribed.
Depends on the course and the tournament. I've had tournaments where I had to play from 7200 yards. If I just go out to play summer, I may play from 6700 yards. It just depends on the day. I like to switch it up. I have a video coming up where I play a longer course in the winter.
Just think how boring golf would be if every tee shot was in the fairway and every approach shot hit the green. No chance to be creative from in the trees... No chance to be creative with a tough chip shot...
Found your channel a week ago after watching a bunch of golf Sidekick. I like your style and straightforward tips. Subscribed
I'm glad you found my channel and I appreciate the kind words! MUCH more on the WAY!

I don't mind a few weeks away from the course. Most years I play throughout the winter. Thank you for watching!
So happy you recovered content from that hard drive. It wasn’t all for nothing! Had to have been a giant relief.
Keep up the awesome work!!
Jerry
Thank you, Jerry!!
I love that you don’t let ego get you in the way of your club selection. You also do a good job of taking into account factors such as wind and lie.

Great video. Driver may have been inconsistent but the best lag putter on RUclips still gets under par! Well done MSH!
Thanks, appreciate it!
Very therapeutic as I watch this as freezing rain falls from the sky here in Charlotte, NC.
Thanks for sharing..!🍻

Thanks MSH. Entertaining and informative. "Hit'em straight"

Great round. Well done! Your lag putting was really good!

Great advice. I have found my most enjoyable rounds where.things did not start off well, but ended well.

Nice round MSH. The putter was working! Keep the quality content coming.

I made an entire video on it. I don't sweat stuff like that. The only thing that can't be replaced is life. Thank you for watching!
That looks like a nice course. Is it a public course? Which course is it?
It is public. It's called Woodruff.
That putt on 16 was FAST!
Yes!
You seldom have stressful second putts. That must make your rounds so much more enjoyable. Nice work.
It does, thanks!
Snowing in northern Virginia. No golf for a few weeks. Sooooo. Off to Spain for vacation. Where are you located?
Illinois.
I noticed that you Put with your left hand below the right. How does that help your putting?
I did a video on it when I switched about a year ago. I've putted a lot better since I made the change.
While watching this video, the thought popped into my head who’s better at scrambling MSH or Hideki Matsuyama
🤣🤣I'll vote Hideki 🤣
You got Manute Bol’d on number 4 😂

Cleveland Hywood. I've done videos with it in the past. Maybe time for another one.
