    It uses two TTP223 IC capacitive touch modules designed for Arduino.

    This shows the finished unit hooked to my Morserino-32 keyer.
    I used the same box as cinch123 but used a stereo phono jack instead of a cable (make is more packable). I used wood between the touch pads and hot melt glue instead of acrylic and silicone as cinch123 did.
    I added a 47pf SMD capacitor to each board to reduce sensitivity so you need to touch the pad rather than have it trigger before you touch.
    Kudo's to cinch123 for the project. It works wonderfully with small parts count and 10 to 20 times cheaper than my other paddles.
