This man is eating an epic meal he prepared himself in a shelter he built. I just noped out of a quesadilla because I would have to shred cheese, and had cereal on my couch while I watched.
I will make pancakes at 11pm at night from scratch no worry's. I'm really concerned when people buy instant pancake mix because it incredibly easy to make. Just egg, milk, sugar a little salt and some self-raising flour.
So nice to be back after 2 years and see that nobody destroyed your hard work and structures! Everything really looks so well built and preserved, amazing!

My uncle had a homestead in the mountains, doors always open, stove, table, all the amenities - some folks were happy to use wood and chop and leave wood for others, even dry food sometimes, but others trashed the beds, broke the table, broke windows, etc. I was surprised by how intact Andy's shelter was after two years, looks like nice people live and camp around!

Me too! When he said he saw that big one and just went back to sleep, it actually made me shiver! I would love to be able to do this kind of thing but that alone would put me off. I'm also not sure I would be able to sleep without some kind of door either, however flimsy, I would like there to be something there. It would freak me right out to think that something could be watching me that I couldn't see in the dark. So happy that Andy makes these videos so I can have the experience without having to do any of the scary bits! 🤣

I camp not too far away from there. Also seen the abandoned ambulance that you camped in on one of your videos, and I’m sure you drove past me once when I was walking into my camp!
