This error code, D80, D90 ,D95 with LG dryer is a manufacturer problem, poor design of the lent/vent system that allow for too much lent to goes through and block the screen air passage.. luckily the sensor stop the machine from running. Otherwise they’d already face with recall due to fires 🔥. The cleaning process requires removal of the front panel and extra long vacuum hose tip. They should recall this and sent out replacement and parts for free. IMO

@@LGUSASupporthad my dryer for a year and a half and already having issues with d95, their is no blockage on the outsides vent tube it’s inside the dryer. Manufacturers bad build quality and you guys only warranty it for a year because you know that’s how long it will last
Thanks! My dad’s dryer displayed flow sense when he shut off the dryer. I wondered what that meant. Then, the next laundry day, so 1 week from then, when we tried to run a cycle, a few minutes later, flow sense was blinking, and d90 and d95 was on the display.
Hey there, The "Flow Sense" indicator, along with the d90 and d95 error codes, means the dryer is detecting restricted airflow. This typically happens when there’s a buildup of lint or an obstruction in the dryer vent or exhaust system. Ensuring proper airflow is essential for your dryer to work efficiently and safely. Here are some steps your dad can take to address this: 1. **Check the lint filter**: Clean it thoroughly before every load. 2. **Inspect the vent hose**: Ensure it’s not kinked or clogged. 3. **Examine the outside vent**: Make sure it’s clear of lint, debris, or obstructions like bird nests. 4. **Perform a deeper clean**: If the codes persist, it might be time to clean the full exhaust system or call a professional for assistance. For more detailed information, you can check out this helpful guide: [LG Dryer: Understanding d90 and d95 Error Codes](www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-understanding-d90-and-d95-error-codes--20150209089448). Once the airflow is restored, the dryer should function normally, and the error codes should clear. Let me know if you need further assistance! ^ Diego

Having similar problems with the d90 code. 2ft duct between dryer and wall vent, had the wall vent cleaned and replaced the duct after the first instance of d90 stopped the cycle and that seemingly did nothing to fix it. Have even tried turning off the d80 error code but that does nothing to stop the d90 code from happening

Unbelievable this defect is still occurring in 2024 going in to 2025! I bought a Dryer - washer tower for my mother as a Christmas gift, paid 1,800 and after her second time drying BAM! Gives us these mediocre codes and reduces the drying time leaving clothes wet. Denying this is not a manufacturing defect is so mediocre. Just shows how poor of quality anything LG is!

Lg dryer at straight garbage do not buy I wish I never bought one never again 💩💩💩💩
I agree. These dryers are trash. I get the error code even with the vent disconnected it’s brand new. Piece of trash.
FYI yes I was getting the error because the gasket was off. Once I put it back on which was a mission the error went away.
