Just to make sure everyone understands what she is saying, this is from Johns Hopkins: "Herpes infections are very common. Fifty to 80 percent of American adults have oral herpes (HSV-1), which causes cold sores or fever blisters in or around the mouth. Genital herpes, caused by HSV-1 or HSV-2, affects one out of every six people in the U.S. age 14 to 49. Genital herpes infections can be asymptomatic, or can show up as outbreaks of blisters or sores." She isn't talking about genital herpes.
Cold sore..we all have them.52 ..wrinkles & pimples..kill me.lol..ur perfect girl..ICU nurse here,,ppl get herpes in their eyes..be grateful its on ur Chiny chin chin..lol
HSV-1 can also cause genital herpes if you are intimate with someone whilst you have a cold sore ..just fyi

Thank you for this. Dealing with horrible hormonal acne for the first time in my life (I’m about to be 23) and finally gave in and went back on an antibiotic before I do more serious meds. Also have lots of health/hormonal issues so I appreciate you mentioning high stress aggravated it- same here. Loved you since day 1 chlo!

Hey Chloe! You’re an inspiration and I enjoy watching everything you create! First off, I’ve never ever noticed your chin issues. Secondly, I had a similar problem with herpes simplex one on my lips. Thank god it went away when I was in my late 20s. Mine was caused by stress triggers too. And o had to take the giant horse pills as well. Blech! I think what made mine disappear was when I started meditating and doing chakra cleansing and healing/yoga. That helped me deal with my stress and “let it go,” therefore, it no longer affected me physically.

Owwwww I feel your pain! I get it on my thumb and my eyelid - caught it from a cold sore my granny had when I was a baby (knocked it with my thumb, then rubbed my eye, hence it’s weird correlating areas). It doesn’t flare up too often and I keep a stash of cream to catch it before it gets bad, but my thumb has a permanent scar where it comes up. Get shooting nerve pains up my arm before a flare, which is horrible but kinda warns me it’s coming 😂 I do reckon so many more people have it than would ever admit it! x

As a fellow cold sore sufferer I get it. I get it on both my top lip and bottom lip, if I’m particularly anxious or stressed I sometimes get it on my chin. When using your make up, I find, I keep a few brushes and sponges separate especially for when I have one come up. I literally have doubles of my favourite lip balm and lipstick so I can still use them when I have one flare up. Compeed has cold sore patches I believe you can get it in the States. But don’t be ashamed, I know it’s an embarrassing thing to talk about, especially online and you are so brave for doing so. Keep on doing you Chloe! Much love from England 💜💜
I first got one when I was 12. The medicine to treat it helped, I haven't had a flair up since.
I has cystic acne when I was young, had to take Accutane, which was pretty heavy-duty stuff.
Off-topic, your darker hair color is really pretty.
I believe I took Accutane as well, and I can attest to it’s hard core nature. Dries out your skin like you would not believe. However, I had such bad acne, especially on my back, that I wouldn’t ever want to take off my shirt to go swimming. I still don’t, but my acne has cleared up 100% on my back. Thanks Chloe, for sharing your acne story. I love when people keep it real, and don’t hide behind computer & cell phone screens. ❤️ ya Chloe

I get flares of herpes simplex when my immune system is down from stress too, but mostly from dehydration, long sun exposure, hang over, flu, etc. Knowing this has help me recognize early signs to start treatment. I also use antiinflamatories to help reduce itchiness and inflamation, and i try to keep my lips moistured.

Oh my gosh. I have had the same problem my whole life and got made fun of as a kid and would get these cold sores that looked absolutely disgusting and hurt so much. Even at 26 i still get them if my skin around my chin gets irritated and when I’m stressed. Makes me feel so much better that other people also have this issue

Omg Chloe I have herpes simplex as well! Mine is on my lips! I got it when I was 4 and it has been a struggle ever since but I’m 23 now and it has gotten a lot better! ♥️♥️

I had cradle cap when I was a baby. Teenage years I had bad acne/cold sores. Now I've been struggling with bad psoriasis on my face and scalp for years
It seems your poor immune system has ben through the wringer 😔 Have you have your immune. System checked? You may have an immune deficit or disorder. Found out I did.

@@phrostbyte Right..but psoriasis can be a symptoms of a bigger immune system disorder. My son has psoriadic arthritis. It's like RA but manifests as skin conditions first. I have Lupus and RA and my psoriasis is a symotom of that. Treating just the skin conditions is only part of the battle..that is why I asked if you have been tested for more. Also, there are gentic immune system disorders that can attribute to these too. I'm 42, been going through this for me and my kids for years. I have been to tons of specialists and want to make sure you have the correct help. 💜

Cats are amazing. I'm happy there are some former Dance Moms people that love cats. I know you guys and Brooke have cats and I love it. For a while I thought everyone from the show only liked dogs. Btw, dogs are awesome too; but I love cats. I may have been a cat in another life. Lol

I also have herpes but i have it on my mouth and like around my mouth. Something when I have a flare up my mouth swells up and gets big. It started when I was in high school and I really hated going to school like that. I also have to take those big ass pills! I'm so glad you share because you are not alone.

I use calamine lotion on acne like that as I get the same thing through stress, so when you get a flare-up put calamine on and it will soothe it sleep with it on letting the lotion dry and it will dry up, it will stop you from scratching it it's so frustrating lol.
Just some advice, when you suffer the herpes virus, when it is active, never cross contaminate or touch the area without washing your hands after due to that fact that it is easily spreadable when the virus is active like that. Just because I noticed during your makeup application, you were using the same tools all over your face. hope this helps!
Yeah unfortunately if you don’t clean things you’re just reintroducing the same bacteria over and over again + more. This causing a rampant flare.
