Hey there!!! So I dont know why it cuts off and the last 2 minutes are missing.... it shows on my end it was uploaded. I love technology... Anyways, shat I was saying is that I have my 6000 piece puzzle I want to do next year and buying a bigger puzzle room is part of the criteria for our Washington house. But I'd consider doing up to 10,000 pieces currently. But would have to be broken up into 1000 or 2000 piece sections.
I would love to see your puzzle tour! My top three puzzle brands would be art and fable, gratefulhouse, magnolia, jacarou, clementoni, Heye, oops I think I am in trouble I still have more in my top three☺️
I would love to watch a puzzle tour video 😁. I don't think I can pick my top three puzzle brands 🤔. I can pick my favorite (Paperblanks), but otherwhise I feel like there are so many brands I say are one of my favorites 😆. Like you I find it easier to name the ones I avoid: Sunsout and Gibsons. Both brands I have heard other people love, but I have just never had a good experience with them 🤷♀️.
Yes - it really depends on experience. Sometimes you just get a dud from the brand. For example I have had horrible experiences with Piece Work - others love them.
I watch the puzzlers you mentioned but a new one to me is For the Love of Puzzles and I really enjoy that youtube channel. It was interesting to hear your views on puzzles you don't and do like.
I have a few higher count puzzles (4000 to 18 000) that I hope to be able to work on in 2023 since I will have a big table in a bedroom that will only occasionally used... Can't wait!
I have an 18000 piece puzzle I am hoping to do sometime next year. Have to figure out how to work on it and keep my cats away. I have three fur babies that always want attention when I am puzzling 😊
Still catching up on older videos!!! My daughter just got her bachelors in Adv/PR so it's been hectic around here!!! Between her and me working in advertising in NY, I always love when you add in a little bit of marketing info. I watch a lot of RUclips as well, puzzle ones and money ones. Counter intuitive since the puzzle ones make me want to spend and the money ones make me want to save!!! I hear you abt the Disney puzzles from Disney World. The quality stinks but I had to get the one with the 1971 map. I have a lot of good memories from when Magic Kingdom WAS Disney World so I had to get it. I will most likely glue/tape that one together. Whenever I get to it. I also have a love/hate relationship with Ceaco. They are the most inconsistent brand I've ever done. Some have been really good, thick pieces that hold together. Othertimes they are thin and you can barely move 3 at a time. They have to use different manufacturing plants to process their puzzles. It's the only thing that makes sense.
I finally found that Pintoo puzzle that you did available back on Amazon and it is coming to it's new home this Sunday. It will be my second Pintoo puzzle and I can hardly wait!
I also watch other puzzle channels and so I'm kinda used to big puzzle hauls... BUT jigsaw jubie's massive hauls always surprise me LOL! And thank you for the giveaway!
I feel the same way about Ceaco puzzles. Won’t buy them new but will occasionally pick up a thrifted one if I love the image. My issues with them have been mostly fit, I have experienced so many false fits with their puzzles and the prices don’t stick together very well, I can’t carry over more than two pieces to move them around without them falling apart. Also don’t love the feel of the pieces and they are always way too shiny.
Puzzle tours are my favorite! Would love one! Jigsaw Jubies are my fave only because I can then show my husband that my collection could always be larger! 🤭🤭 KarenPuzzles and JigsawJubie are also the only two puzzle channels I watch aside from yours. :)
I have never tried more than 1000 pieces and don't think I ever will... unless I LOVE the image... not just because it's hard but also space is an issue.
For your next Q & A video I would like to know when you thrift, what is the general prices of puzzles at your thrift stores? I find that my local thrift shop has really increased the prices and now it's common to see $5 on used puzzles! I find that high to pay when you have no idea what condition the puzzle is in!
I am somewhat puzzled by the very abrupt cut off at 19:29 minutes. You were talking about giant puzzles and the video just suddenly ended! It's always difficult to decide what your favourite brands are. I think part of it may be to do with where you live and what you can buy from your own country. You also have to decide whether you can afford to buy from abroad as postage can be expensive. For example have you ever heard of House of Puzzles? They are a Scottish company but you can't buy direct from them. I like them as they have unusual cuts. I did include links for you to see what the cuts are like but RUclips deleted my reply so I assume that giving links is a no-no.
How do you separate your pieces? Like I always separate middle pieces and edge pieces but then do you do other little groups of separation. Now that I found your channel I want to up my puzzle strategy game.
Thank you for sharing! I have a question for you. How and when are the winners announced for these giveaways? I am a little confused on this. Thank you!
I will announce the winners on my instagram - but will also respond directly to the winner on the equivalent video. (so if you won the Metropolis puzzle, I will post on Instagram and let you know below your comment in this video.)
Have you tried Art & Fable? I was guessing the top 3 puzzles (out loud before you said them lol) but got the last one wrong. I thought you were going to say Art & Fable lol
Art & Fable is an honorable mention and if I could choose 5 would probably be on there. However, their larger piece counts can be frustrating with a bunch of false fits. But images and texture are beautiful.
I'm using Completing the Puzzle. I've been taking 2-3 days to complete puzzles. For Nov 2022 I received 4 puzzles but one of them was a quick turn-around because I didn't want to do it so it went back out in the mail the same day. All the puzzles have been complete except the very first one. They take only a few days to get the next puzzle to me. So far, this subscription is definitely worth it. Also, the more puzzles you put on your wish list in Completing the Puzzle, the better the chance that you will receive a puzzle you like. (Click on "catalog" to add items to wish list.)
For me the turn around was about 10-12 days to get a new puzzle. So half the month I would be waiting for a puzzle to get to me. It just didn't make sense for me.

I've heard amazing things about grateful house!
A puzzle tour sounds awesome! I promised to spend less next year, so enjoying your collection vicariously would help. LOL
I would love to watch a puzzle tour video 😁.

Yes I’d love to watch puzzle hauls/unhauls and reviews of other puzzle subscription options if you’re able to make them 🙂

Side note this one cut off mid talking- while you were talking about doing a huge count puzzle :)
Can’t wait to see the pintoo video. I have one pintoo puzzle and I hope to get more in the future
I’m working on puzzle #42 for the year… it’s about 11 less than this time last year
Puzzle tours are my favorite! Would love one!

You should try buying from Jigsawjungle. Huge selection and frequent deals. Based in Montréal, but they ship to the US.
I would enjoy seeing a puzzle tour. I enjoy doing Schmidt puzzles, I just ordered a Pintoo and looking forward to getting it.
Yes to a puzzle tour! Also would be interested in talking about puzzle storage for us collectors- discard boxes and store in pouches to save room?
I saw your earlier reply, but maybe a good topic for a future video
Great video. Yes to puzzle tour! Another Antelope giveaway 😀
I've never done an Antelope puzzle, but they look nice! Love watching your videos!!
I would love to see a puzzle unhaul and general puzzle tour!
sounds good.

@@thecasualpuzzler Amazing!!! Thank you!!
Always love a puzzle tour video! Although, like you were talking about with Jigsaw Jubie, they tend to be dangerous for me. 😆
I love your puzzle tour/puzzle declutter videos! Would love to see what’s on your shelves for the holidays!

Noted!
I love your puzzle suggestion and I like see all the 3d puzzles and your opinion on puzzle brands
How do you separate your pieces? Like I always separate middle pieces and edge pieces but then do you do other little groups of separation. Now that I found your channel I want to up my puzzle strategy game.
It depends on the puzzle. Sometimes I do a big sort based on color or texture. Sometimes I just pull out sections as I do them.
Thank you for sharing! I have a question for you. How and when are the winners announced for these giveaways? I am a little confused on this. Thank you!

My top 3 : 1) white mountain, 2) eeboo, 3) springbok
I would love to see a puzzle tour.
Would love a tour! Ty
This Metrpolis puzzle is right up my alley! I've never tried Antelope
They're pretty great.
I thought it was just me… 😢 off topic… love the eyeshadow. ☺️

Your holiday intro is very cool

Do you want us to enter each day even though the entry is the same thing?
Each video - yes. The tool that I'm using keeps track of all the entries and will be used to pick the winner.
Oops! You got cut off at the end! Now i'm puzzled about what your answer was! 😁
I put it in my pinned comment!

Great questions! Definitely going to check out Antelope. I put the Van Gogh cartoon on my wish list. 🧩
