If we get a pg seat in 2024 itself, I got to know that joining cms can be delayed by 3 years if upsc allows. Is this provision true ?

Yes you can get extension to complete your pg and later decide to join back.

I have Interview on 30th October (Wednesday)
Next 2 days might be Holidays for Diwali. During that time Medical Examination hota hai??
Otherwise i need to book return tickets, cannot stay 4-5 days extra for Medical

Medical examination is not usually done on govt holidays.
Would suggest you to call the upsc helpline before booking your tickets.

Sir i have doubt regarding ews certificate what is the right time to make for 2025 cms exam
Sir I have my medical test for UPSC CMS tomorrow . They are asking for recent 10 days photo with name and date written on it.
But I only have normal photos . Will they allow me for the medical examination ?

I had faced the same issue but i did get a pp photo with date on it clicked on the same day.
You'll have to talk to them, shouldn't be any major issue though.

Interview was fine I think . Only 2 subject panelists - medicine and surgery along with the IAS sir . Surgery interview was good . In medicine I was not able to recall some things .Not very happy with the medicine part 😅
