- I finally did the big chop. I think we all kind of knew this was coming. I've been too frustrated with my hair recently and styling has been too difficult so I had the help of Leah Hill to start afresh. I'm really happy with how it turned out and excited to explore my hair at a new length. It was really nice to also have my best friend Charlotte there with me and my other besties on face time (I forgot to explain this in the voiceover) but we were chatting the whole time and it was really cute to have their support ❤️

I've been natural for 10 years and have cut it all off twice so far. There's nothing like a fresh haircut to give you a new start. You look so good and I'm wishing you the best with getting everything sorted

When I had my daughter I had waist length hair. By the time she was four months I lost large patches due to stress. It went from thick to clearly damaged but I wouldn’t let go. Fast forward two years I finally chopped it to my shoulders and it’s such a relief to feel healthier hair. Wish I’d done it years ago vs hanging on. ❤
I'm so sorry to hear this, it is so hard to deal with when it goes, especially when it's really long but I'm glad you did what's right for you and you feel so much happier with shorter healthier hair. It's definitely better to let it go in these cases and start fresh ❤
The cut suits you soooo well! I've had to cut off all my hair as well. In my case it was heat damage. The short hair feels so nice and it's great having a full head of healthy hair.

Beautiful as always. I cut my hair too chin length and it's taken a few months and it's finally starting to bounce back. I decided to keep it that length until I figure out how to style it and it just makes like so much easier having uniform short curls. I hope yours starts to bounce back too and that your confidence stays high lovely.

Absolutely beautiful, before and after. I've also been thinking of chopping it all off due to frustrations and the high maintenance it requires but I also took so long to grow it. Waaahh I'm so conflicted. But your chop was gorgeous!

I've been wanting to cut mine for years and there's been so many times I've almost done it and appointments have been cancelled or rearranged last minute. In the end this was the best time so I just feel like you know when it's time. Maybe do a mini chop or trim first as I do think that can really help if you're feeling frustrated with your hair as it gives it a bit of a refresh ❤
The short hair looks amazing on you 😍. You can rock any style long or short. I would definitely say you were meant to have short hair. You could taper the sides or dye it. It looks amazing on you the short hair.
Thank you! Yes I can't wait to play with tapering the sides and hair dye later down the line. It's going to be short for a while I think as it's so much easier for me to manage

Using a tangle teezer for years caused by hair to fall out like this. When I went back to a wide tooth comb my hair started to recover
That wasn't the cause of my hair loss but I'm glad you found the cause of yours
I've been thinking of your experience since my hair has been thinning out drastically. I think my cause is that im peri-menapause. Slowly slowly I have been going shorter and shorter. Its actually quite strengthening to take control of my hair loss. I feel better.
Yes there's something quite freeing about taking it into your own hands so I'm glad you feel better

I feel she cut off way too much. It’s definitely giving big chop. But you’re gorgeous and it will grow back quickly
Thank you. Yes it's a big chop and I'm not in a hurry to grow it back to be honest. I wasn't sure how much I'd be cutting until she did it but I think the length I have was best for me. I had a lot of hair dye to cut off and I was really worried about it being an awkward length and because I've had so many issues with hair loss and my scalp it being longer was too much for me to deal with
