The Tracker 3's auto revert function will reset your Tracker back into transmit mode after 5 minutes of searching or after 30 seconds of no movement. To use autor evert you need to press the options button when you turn on the transceiver and when it goes through the diagnostics it will flash AR, this means you are in auto revert mode. You need to do this every time when you start up the Tracker 3 to ensure auto revert is turned on. Hope this helps? Practice with it and see if you think this is a good function for you to use prior to going into the backcountry. For beginners it may be too confusing and something let until they are more comfortable with the transceiver.
When in Big Picture mode, is the field of view narrowed to 70deg like the original Tracker?
Yes, I believe so. Best to check the manufacturer's web site to be 100% sure though, but this is how previous version worked.
Hi Brad, how do you set the auto revert on the tracker 3? You mention you have to set it each time you start up the device.

I like the camera style mode selector.
It is more common on other transceivers as well such as Ortovox models but it is harder to use with gloves on when compared to the slider version.
