Misool. Layers of fun. Wedding Cake Dive Site
Wedding Cake dive site is also known as Layer Cake. When you see the Eastern side of this dive site, you'll notice all the different layer formations as the wall stretches down to below 30m. I guess that's where it gets its name from.
It's a very diverse dive site with many different slopes and walls to explore with the Eastern side being more colourful and way more abundance of corals. Don't discard the Western side though. Although it's not as colourful, there any many different marine species one can find among the rubble.
The current can get very strong here, but at least there will be many place to take shelter due to the shape of the dive site.
In the right season, Wedding Cake is filled with schools of small fish being hunted. Always a treat to see ;)
