I’m gonna be honest... Toby is my least favorite. It’s not bad, i just never cared. Amazing spiderman is what made me fall in love with spiderman (and yes, the second one isn’t perfect but it’s a guilty pleasure of mine). Andrew is just such a compelling actor i was sucked in. Then Tom Holland made me love the character even more in a whole new way. He just had an innocence that i loved. And of course into the spider verse was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had cinematically. I never understood why everyone likes the original trilogy so much, but there’s also a ton of people who didn’t like Andrew Garfield and i loved him so what do i know 🤷🏻♀️

In my opinion, the Sam Raimi trilogy (the one with Tobey Maguire) is the best. It's the version of the webhead I grew up with, so that trilogy's got a special place in my heart.

Tobey's entire verse solidified why he's the best on screen portrayal of Spiderman: He spends the entire time pointing out why he's a hero in the first place, bringing hope to everyone and doing everything he can to protect others even when it means his personal life goes to shit. All the others just list off their achievements and how much cooler they are, he kept it humble and reminded everyone why they love this character to begin with.

Here is how I feel about each Spiderman: Tobey Maguire- This Spiderman will always have a special place in my heart because he introduced me to the world of Spiderman and superheroes in general. Andrew Garfield- I will admit that he is my least favorite out of all the four. It’s just that I don’t feel like he is Spiderman or even Peter Parker for that matter. To me he feels like a different superhero, not a bad one but definitely not Spiderman. Tom Holland: I will admit that at first I was neutral about Tom, but after watching Homecoming this version of Spiderman had gained my respect and admiration. And after watching Far from home I can safely say that Tom has portrayed Spiderman way better than the rest of the four. Miles Morales- Watching into the Spider-verse REALLY changed my perspective on this character. At first I felt that Miles was an inferior version of Peter Parker, but this movie showed me that while he does have the same powers of Spiderman (Minus the camouflage and Venom blast) he is a completely different person. He will never be greater than Peter Parker, but its okay because he is not Peter. He is Miles Morales. Jake Johnson- Admittedly I always seen him as a realistic Spider-Man where not everything has a happy ending, but the fact that even with all the hardships that he endured he is STILL helping people as Spiderman. This Spiderman had definitely earned my respect Overall my favorite Spiderman is defiantly Tom Holland. I was unsure of this at first, but watching Far from home really made me love and respect this Spiderman even more.
My Rankings: 1. Jake Johnson 2. Tom Holland or Shameik Moore 3. Tobey Maguire 4. Andrew Garfield Remember this just my opinion and I think all have their ups and down and none of them do a bad job.

I’m gonna be honest... Toby is my least favorite. It’s not bad, i just never cared. Amazing spiderman is what made me fall in love with spiderman (and yes, the second one isn’t perfect but it’s a guilty pleasure of mine). Andrew is just such a compelling actor i was sucked in. Then Tom Holland made me love the character even more in a whole new way. He just had an innocence that i loved. And of course into the spider verse was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had cinematically. I never understood why everyone likes the original trilogy so much, but there’s also a ton of people who didn’t like Andrew Garfield and i loved him so what do i know 🤷🏻♀️

Tobey's entire verse solidified why he's the best on screen portrayal of Spiderman: He spends the entire time pointing out why he's a hero in the first place, bringing hope to everyone and doing everything he can to protect others even when it means his personal life goes to shit. All the others just list off their achievements and how much cooler they are, he kept it humble and reminded everyone why they love this character to begin with.

Here is how I feel about each Spiderman:
Tobey Maguire- This Spiderman will always have a special place in my heart because he introduced me to the world of Spiderman and superheroes in general.
Andrew Garfield- I will admit that he is my least favorite out of all the four. It’s just that I don’t feel like he is Spiderman or even Peter Parker for that matter. To me he feels like a different superhero, not a bad one but definitely not Spiderman.
Tom Holland: I will admit that at first I was neutral about Tom, but after watching Homecoming this version of Spiderman had gained my respect and admiration. And after watching Far from home I can safely say that Tom has portrayed Spiderman way better than the rest of the four.
Miles Morales- Watching into the Spider-verse REALLY changed my perspective on this character. At first I felt that Miles was an inferior version of Peter Parker, but this movie showed me that while he does have the same powers of Spiderman (Minus the camouflage and Venom blast) he is a completely different person. He will never be greater than Peter Parker, but its okay because he is not Peter. He is Miles Morales.
Jake Johnson- Admittedly I always seen him as a realistic Spider-Man where not everything has a happy ending, but the fact that even with all the hardships that he endured he is STILL helping people as Spiderman. This Spiderman had definitely earned my respect
Overall my favorite Spiderman is defiantly Tom Holland. I was unsure of this at first, but watching Far from home really made me love and respect this Spiderman even more.
I agree with most of the things you said but you forgot Jake Johnson as Peter.
