New people can not carry with heimer he's just too squish you have to get way ahead to do that. So he was trying very hard and using all his skills, there is a reason heimer is last tier pick.

As Heimer main I had to say Ult+E is may the most underrated skill in game! Insane range and if you had to use in short range cause someome ganks, it will hit two times + stun, so all tower lasers will hit and with I little bit of timing you get second time laser cause you can hit all rockets on the last second of the ult stun!! Thats by far the most dmg heimy can do 1v1

If anybody is wondering, a very good counter against Heimer is Irelia. There comes a moment where your Q will oneshot his turrets so they help you manuver yourself even better lol
There's an interesting interaction with Hecarim E and Rapid Firecannon, and I think you'll like it
You basically run lethality Hecarim, and have Rapid Firecannon after Duskblade or Eclipse, but they won't notice that you can reach them from a mile away.

One of the most underutilized items on Heimer: Rylai's. Turret autos apply the slow. Insane kite.
Yup, rylai turret slow, plus you get sped up by turrets, so you can run around in circles around them, or just run away and keep slowing them with rockets and grenades

One of the highest intensity non-tournament League games I’ve ever seen. Near flawless execution up until that second Baron. Truly amazing.
When your problem is your team does exactly what you tell them to do, as soon as you tell them, lol.
About using turrets to hit towers, I usually force putting lots of them if I can crash a cannon wave into enemy tower... Then you get a lot more value than in a regular wave

Heimer probably has a good win rate, because you can't fuck up too bad on him. If you have lag spikes or bad ping, your turrets are still going to shoot. If you misposition, you might drag people down with you, and he lends himself very well to utility. And very important, he loves being a bit tanky, which is exactly what this update did

Hey Zwag, Day 79 of asking for most annoying Tank Janna build.
Runes:
Glacial Augment, magical footwear, biscuit delivery, Approach Velocity (so you can go in for chain CC)
Secondary Runes:
Conditioning, Revitalise
Build:
Everfrost, boots (your choice), Fimbulwinter, Anathemas Chains, Spirit Visage and one more item of your choice.
Spell order:
Max W then Q then E
Aim is to get as much CC as possible and tilt the enemy team. You can still peel for your team since it’s Janna.

W is in most cases better if spread wide. One rocket deals 55% of total damage by all rockets on the same target. So, hitting 2 or more targets with 1 rocket each deals more than all focused in one target.
Also, try hullbreaker rush on him. The push power is just.. dirty, similar to old days of Banner of Command + Zz'Roth
Take a shot everytime zwag says turrets
Tip on playing Heimer - if youre running comet, you want to spread out your rockets for poke in lane. It only takes 1 to hit the enemy champ to proc the comet and with the spread shot its a lot easier to hit them.
i feel like zwag wasnt able to put himself to play the donger while sober, so then this game and commentary happened loooool
For what is wrong with the turrets in the bush @ 12:50, it seems to be a visual bug where the turrets are trying to shoot an enemy out of range. I went up against a heimy in a game, and the same thiing was happening where the turret was trying to hut me while I was out of range. I never took damage mind you, but the turrets were trying to auto me for some strange reason. I reported the bug and others on the heimy mains subreddit have said the same thing but it hasn’t been fixed yet.
A shaco heimer lane would be interesting, because of the boxes would be a pain to deal with of you try to push

With the new Nilah builds, I imagine casters will be even more en vogue. That said, every team still needs a tank. I would love to see what you could come up with for a Taric top lane build (mana-intensive though it may be). Archangel's Staff and AP abuse? Winter's Approach and Turbo Chemtank for pure tanky team fighting? Manamune and Divine Sunderer to abuse your passive and Q to on hit damage deal? I would be very curious to see where your mind would take this.

The problem with heimer is that it is easy to get overconfident on him and if you are not playing confidently(aggressively) he loses the point.

I love playing heimerdinger. People consistently underestimate how hard his turrets/missiles hit mid/late game, especially with stuff like Liandry's.

heimer is best at support role. You can basicly counter all hook champs and you can pressure the jungle with your turrets. You dont need money because you can easily kill even bruisers with 3 turrets, e and a r w without items.

I recomend two very fun builds. The first would be sunfire lethal tempo mordekaiser. The buildpath is sunfire, demonic, and after that more or less pure tank. I also tried fiting in a Botrk and a titanic but thats a bit troll. The second build would be sunfire lethal tempo darius. I sometimes play it into very cc heavy teamcomps with very long fights. The sunfire damage also gives some magic damage which makes it harder to build items aginst it. Second item deathdance or this shilditem Idk the name right now. And yea after that just pure tank. Boots are situational. The goal is basicly to extent fights as long as possible and the longer the fight goes the more damage you gain. Would love to see zwag play one of these builds. Day 34 of asking to go Olaf Mid.
Please try Olaf Mid (as i name it the new meta because I destroy every Yasuo, Yone, Zed or some other champions, i discovered some mages like Akali aren't a good match up)
With this build i don't leave the lane for like 8 minutes and I can kill them everytime with zero items just a Dorans Shield and I think Olaf hase some Life Steal too.
Take Ignite with Flash or Ghost, the Ignite is a must in the early fight.
You begin with Q than W than E and you max Q first than W.
At first you go:
Dorans sheild with a potion
Armor boots
Divine Sunderer
Deaths Dance
Thornmail
The last 2 items are your choice, you could go something else depends on the match ups idk.
And for the runes you go:
Lethal Tempo
With Triumph
With Legend Alacrity
With Last Stand
And for the secondary you go:
Bone Plating
With Overgrowth
is cosmic drive a build opportunity too? i mean i thnk it´s pretty insane to have even more cdr on abilities
My one problem with Heimer is...the voice acting. I'm too used to his LoR voice. Also, I love that "one more wave and I can afford Lost Chapter" became "one more wave because my turrets are still healthy" and then "one more wave to get plating".
When I make a zhonyas I always buy the stopwatch first, use the cd, then finish zhonyas for a free cd. I don't see most people do that ever.
I love heimer so amazinf champ. Try him top its so fun :) As soon as the enemy goes for a minion kill you just nade and turrets does tons and you can throw a couple of rockets on him aswell. Think most people have problems with the rockets they are kinda unik to aim.

Noone ever builds evenshroud . I was thinking for a few days if I should suggest a top darius fun troll evenshroud hulkbreaker build. It's totally a 1v5 if done right . Rest of the build is situational or by choice. But I love to see mythic items that get no love played .

Would a Rylai's be useful with Donger?
U need to try demonic ,riftmaker, rabadon and seraph. Or some tank with visage and hourglass. Start with tear and U can try heimer with conqueror i dont know if the heimers towers hit this rune but it could be fun

Zwag, next time you play a heim game - go to their blue or red (depending on their jungle) then drop three turrets and steal their camp then go mid - always fun
