One of the best showings of Striking Martial Arts in all of anime and bro really said "1 out of 10 I wasn't entertained at all" like naw, he was waiting for someone to go Super Saiyen and fire a laser beam or sum shit.
Thats what im saying bro, this anime is more grounded in reality and isn't some funky ass power up fest where people change their hair color every episode. Context is also important because both characters were hyped up prior to the fight not to mention the stakes of the tournament in general.

Well Keagan is animated by actual Martial Artist and it really is using real techniques and counters based off of real fighting and self defense. Like Cosmo Inoy on the anime he has a grappling base so his techniques are submissions and ground and pound. This is animated UFC

Real kengan is more realistic than baki + it has good fighting scenes and animation.

From a non anime fan that randomly stumbled across this,this was a hidden gem im so glad i and decided to try and watch this its amazing10/10, brutal/ graphic and with realistic elements just amplified by 100x and the hits have a massive impact everything about it is satisfying everyone has styles and own special move i think my favourite was saw pang vs rei please watch the saw pang vs rei fight❤ recommend this show %100 this is to good🤝👍🏾

You guys should watch the whole episode and some of the earlier parts of the series first. Otherwise you are just robbing yourself of the stakes and what is leading into this fight.
You pretty much missed one of the key points and takeaways--Kaolon, in spite of losing the fight, won the mental match against Agito. Agito left the match bitter and defeated.
