I like the idea of the 3 unit shootout you suggested. I think if they could somehow get these features down to about $200US that would be a magic "must-buy" value equation. Great demo song! Had an almost "Irish" jig/reel feel to it. Your style is so recognizable. God bless and rock on 🎸👍😎
Thank you so much!!!! Yes, that comparison should be pretty interesting...I agree also on the price, even if with the inflation of the last years prices went up a little bit...unfortunately...
Thanks for your efforts putting latency info up for these digital pedals. For some reason most manufacturers make this difficult to find. Sure, it’s always a negligible number in its own, but once you start stacking pedals it’s a number you want to keep track of.
this fx150 or the Nux mg30?? im planning to get one of those.. just can't decide which one should i pick. any advice? btw great review.. greeting from philippines.
Per trovare le differenze tra analogico e "tuo" digitale (regolazioni perfette, ir etc.) ormai non basta più il lanternino, ci vuole il microscopio. Bella demo song. Gran video, complimenti
Hi, you are welcome! Yes, I should receive also the FX150b...in terms of specs I think it's more in line with the MG 400...but also a comparison with the MG30 would be interesting Thank you!
Hi Leo, thanks for your video. I just bought the Flamma FX 150b, and it has great sounds. But I don't understand the function of the footswitches. I know holding A and B together for a couple of seconds I'll get the tuner. But if I press A and B or B and C for a shorter moment I get 3 lines of presets and cannot get out of them back to the one I was playing. If I press one button it takes me to the next preset, like from 3A to 4B and on to 5C, etc. It is very confusing. I don't know how to get back to my original preset. I have to be very careful when I play not to step on 2 buttons at the same time--which can easily happen since they are close togethe, and I end up in different presets. It is not clearly explained in the manual, and I could not find a video explaining it. I would so much appreciate if you could tell me how to get back to my preset I was playing. Sincerely, Michael
Hi, it's really hard to give you a black and white answer. I should make a direct video comparison to answer properly or to give you the elements to decide. I will thank about it. Thank you for your suggestion!
Hi, there are a Mono pitch shifter effect and a Polyphonic pitch shifter effect....In the user manual I didn't find any reference to an harmoniser. Thank you!
@Leo Gibson I thought I have confused terms, but I haven't. In other reviews, you compared dynamic range between modeler and amp. It's definitely missing here.
Interesting topic ...but pretty complex. In super synthesis: 1) for video (as far as I know) 48khz is standard 2) aliasing: the higher is the freq the lower aliasing is 3) For some songs I process more than one stage of A D A conversion...for instance in order to go through some analog processors...therefore I prefer to have an higher freq Thank you
Leo you consistently make the best review videos on RUclips. Thanks for all your hard work and for sharing your talent. MAJIK BAND loves you.
Thank you soooo much, I'm super happy that you like the video!!!
Many thanks to all the MAJIK BAND!!!
As always - a great informative review! Flamma confidently conquers part of the low-cost processor market.

Leo, thanks for the video!
Btw, they have FX150b , with 3000 mA battery. Nice one. And maybe NUX MG30 need to comparison?

The mg30 is still the best value multieffect june 2023? Gigs and studio, quality sound, software and constructiin? Tnx Leo from Chile 🇨🇱

Flamma unit sounds very good - for the price point very good unit to have - great demo Leo
Thank you for sharing and I'm happy that you like the video!
Leo which is better ampero mini or this unit? I never used guitar effects pedal which is easier to use and sounds good?

Flamma fx 200 vs Valeton GP200 please sir 😊😊😊
Thank you for your suggestion! I have something similar coming out tomorrow...😀
Hey Leo! What's your take of this unit versus the GP200JR? Any comparison to that one in the works?
Yes, I want to compare it to the JR, and the mg 400....I need time...😀
Hi Leo, what is the benefit of this one over the flamma fx 200? Thank you!
Hi, good point!
I need to make a direct comparison....I'm actually doing it...but I need to time to finish it.
Thank you!
@@LeoGibsonGtr thank you,Leo! I could not find any useful info. The fx 150 is newer I guess (?)
Me leo could it be within your possibilities to make a review of the Headrush prime ?
Hi Bruno, if HeadRush will send me a unit to try, I will be happy to review it!
Thank you!
Is this exactly the same as the FX150B w/ built in battery same as this model?
Yes, I guess that's correct.
Thank you!
does it include the power supply?
No acoustic sim?
Harmonist?
Hi, there are a Mono pitch shifter effect and a Polyphonic pitch shifter effect....In the user manual I didn't find any reference to an harmoniser.
Thank you!
Put a 48Khz sample rate, dry signal via USB and midi on it, and it's a perfect budget modeler.
😀👍
I've missed your traditional dynamic range comparisons. The Soldano comparison was way too short as well.
Hi, thank you for sharing your findings. Yes, I typically do the dynamic range comparison when comparing the unit to other modellers.
@Leo Gibson I thought I have confused terms, but I haven't. In other reviews, you compared dynamic range between modeler and amp. It's definitely missing here.
Hi, I do the dynamic range test typically when I compare two or more modelers and not in the demo review videos.
Thank you!
@@LeoGibsonGtr I've seen a bunch in which you compared amp vs modeler, if I'm not mistaken.

how does the performance of fx150 compared to ampero mp80? Thanks a lot in advance
Hi, hard to tell, I should do a direct comparison to answer properly...maybe in the coming weeks!
Thank you of your suggestion!
Built in battery? Or there's 2 types fx150?
Hi, I think the model with the battery is called FX 150B
Thank you!
@@LeoGibsonGtr Thank you.
Great review and demo.
Thank you!
where can you buy it?
Hi, I think on Thomann even if maybe the unit are still not in store...I mean maybe Flamma is distributing the units to the dealers.
Did I give you my permission to melt my face off!!!!!
😀
Looks like ampero one clone

Why do you record at 48 kHz and not at 44.1 ?

Hi leo donner 2000 vs nux 400 who better in your opinion
Hi, I don't have the Arena, therefore I can't tell from direct experience. I'm sorry...
