There are no tropical storms in LA. No hurricanes, tornadoes or lightening storms that shut down fireworks, transportation and some rides. For that alone, I prefer a vacation in CA and Oogie Boogie!
Been going to Disney world 1 or 2 times a year for many years and only had a ride shut down once due to lightening in the area. Stood there 15 min and it was back up.
If you are into fireworks, I guess that's a point for MNSS, but I think the "entertainment" of Oogie Boogie is the Villain stages on the trails and the Villains Grove. Both of these factors are what make Oogie Boogie a completely unique event, and I'll take that immersive experience over the shows by the castle any day.
Oogie Boogie is more interactive than the Not So Scary party. The treat trails have character interactions, but no main 'show'. It just depends what you are looking for. Both parties are fun, but I personally prefer Oogie Boogie.....if you can get a ticket. That is a whole other issue that Disney needs to fix.
we saw you standing by the entrance of MK when we stopped to checkout the train stops. I recognized you with the sunglasses, and told my wife. She kept nudging me to go over to get an autograph and a picture :). I didnt want to get you into trouble because I wasnt sure if disney frowned on that.
THANK YOU! Your review on everything is so spot on. Makes me feel better that someone thought the same. Typically you get a keepsake from these special events, I guess mine was goldfish, so many goldfish. Best part for me was seeing Lotso.
I’m with you. While I’ve never been to either yet (going to MNNSHP on 10/27), I don’t get why people say Oogie Boogie is so much better. The parade by far is much better, the castle show, the mini dance parties, and especially how you don’t have to wait in long lines to get treats (not everyone is into characters and wants to stand in those lines). I have a special needs son who isn’t too keen on seeing characters and would not be happy having to stand in lines for his treats when he doesn’t want to be near the characters.
Stay in Florida, more tickets for those of us who appreciate the art of the Villains Grove and talented character actors that bring the villains to life. Scripted stage shows require far less talent, wit and courage but then the audience is less demanding in Walt Disney World(just throw more candy at them).
Absolutely, didn’t mean to sound as harsh as that came off. It’s really an Apples and oranges comparison. The visitors to each are generally far different. Disneyland resorts has a very high percentage of locals visiting as compared to Disney world. Extremely different audiences. But really the tickets for Oogie Boogie are really hard to get.
I definitely think MNSSHP's parade is much better. From a production standpoint, it's cohesive and flows together with the music shifting to match each float and section, while OBB's was jarring to watch with the song just playing over and over. It comes across as a short, makeshift parade. But I love how many villains OBB has. I can't get over Ernesto!!
oh man! We gotta watch those Sanderson sisters around Nate!! 🤣 They looked great and Ernesto and Sid looked awesome too!! But i'm not a big character person, so I think I would stick to MNSSHP- Boo To You seems way better, plus fireworks, plus the huge scoops of candy! We went a couple weeks ago, and I'm literally staring at our 4 bags of candy right now 🙃🤭Glad you guys had a fun night, Thanks for sharing your adventures!!
I have seen more prefer OBB over MNSSHB but definitely a personal preference thing... You should REALLY go to Knott's Scary Farm's Halloween Haunt! This year is the 50th Anniversary. I am flying out end of October... it is by far the best Haunt experience anywhere!
@@wrightdownmainstreet this year is perfect! 50th Anniversary... do the Prescare BOO-fet, get the Fright Lane pass. BOo-fet gets you in 30 mins early and you can get all 4 backstage mazes done before the general public gets in.
I give you thumbs up because I love your content but OBB is way better than Mickey’s not so scary I went there once, and once was enough, it was not only too hot and humid but the cast members were really grouchy and not in a good mood probably because they were hot and not comfortable either and there’s just way too many children at that event just screaming ungrateful children everywhere and I don’t even think you could drink there at the time. There was no alcohol in the parks at Magic Kingdom when I went which is always helpful when you’re surrounded by screaming children but this event it’s mostly for adults or older kids you don’t really see that many children there like you do at Mickey’s not so scary parties I’m so glad they switched it to Ogie boogie in DCA and you’re allowed to drink is a huge a plus, and the tree trails are interactive, and they change of the characters which they did this year. The last two years they had it they didn’t change it up until now, so I can’t wait I’ll be there in October! I’m going is Ursula and my daughter is the human form of Ariel and my other daughter is going to be the Eels flotsam and jetsom
Oh, and I love the new light up necklace. I have every single one of them going back 20 years and this one looks really cool because it’s sort of see through the other ones weren’t.
Make sure when you order all those treats you tell them you don’t want any green dye on it because that’s all you’ll get all night long and OBB is green dye galore. I always always order it without the green dye.
I’m heading to OBB this weekend and I already feel like I agree with you! I live in Orlando so I’m used to WDW and expect a lot more out of a ticketed event like this. Not much party exclusive food?! A short parade?! I’m sure it’ll be fun and all, but probably not something I’ll do again! I totally get where you’re coming from!
Villian’s Grove with characters and treat trail? No no no. Villian’s Grove is an immersive experience and nothing more. If you let everyone on the line rush in, it’ll ruin that experience. I love your videos because you tend to be objective. But this one seemed a little too much like you were looking for flaws or trying to reach your own personal expectations.
I went in expecting to love Oogie Boogie Bash but was just unimpressed. I think it’s because characters aren’t my thing. I don’t care for character meet & greets. I still appreciate how good the characters were performing, but it’s not my favorite thing. All my reviews are honest 🤷🏻♀️

Awwww, that Halloween light-up necklace looks so good on you😊

How anyone could describe Villain's Grove as " kind of underwhelming" is frankly beyond my comprehension.
🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ just my opinion. If there were some villain meet & greets in there I think it would have been a little cooler
Sean is such a goofball not getting a bag for the treats!
I love listening to you describe things. Every now and then the Jersey comes out in you!!!

Don’t be bitter WDW is better dude
I appreciate it, just wasn’t for me. It’s okay for people to have different opinions

Boo to you is everything!!! even just the song! The parade song has no catchiness or tune in Disneyland
I have to agree! Boo To You is song I will never get sick of. It gets me so pumped!
I loved this video...awesome💗
I love your channel, And your group of friends are great. You all are like the real Friends Show. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!!
New to the channel

Im not a big character meet & greet fan. Seeing the villains was really cool though. Ernesto was def my fave

hoping for "cafeteria food" 😂😅
What would you rate a costco churro?
I love Costco churros the most, but DL churros are much better than DW though.
@michelewright5183 thank you. I have never had the dl or dw churros and was wondering how they compare to costco.

Knotts sounds fun! I have been meaning to go

If you’re a big character fan then Oogie Boogie is for you. I’m not a big fan of meeting characters and I feel like that’s all there was to do
You had green teeth lol❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Gorgeous 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Yay! I was hoping you'd make it out this year 🎃 I'm headed to the bash in October and I'm so hyped.
Have a blast!
The Kingdom Kreewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww......................
i like to know what is that oogie boogie bash characters in little stage or what is that?
i just cant believe you didnt like villains grove. 😢
I was expecting villains to be in there. A lot of people love it, so I know I’m definitely on the outs with that opinion

You take to long to post pertinent videos.
I was enjoying my vacation, thank you!
