What a fantastic walk this was. Conditions were perfect after a busy week and this is just what I needed. I hope you enjoy it! If you would like to support my channel that would be amazing 😀: buymeacoffee.com/trekkingwithtony
I've done it from grasmere lay-by. Walked to rydall caves then climb up round caves. Came down steep slope to grassmere water. The other route I've just come up from grassmere and came down other side to Loughrigg tarn but didn't go round it .This walk I would do already planning it stunning walk thank-you I would never have done it that way round xx
I know the first route you mean Louise, I’ve done that in reverse. I didn’t think I’d get parked there but it was fine. You can also park at Rydal Mount. This really is a stunning route and I hope you get a great day for it. Thanks, as always, for your support 😄🥾⛰️
Hi Tony Another great video. It's so funny how I have done lots of this walk but never as a complete circular. I have never even considered doing the walk like this so thanks for that I will certainly do it the next chance I get.
Thanks for the video Tony and Alison. Well timed, as I will be on that very fell this time next week (Monday morning). I won't be doing your exact route, as the fell is large enough to split into two walks....with a Badger Bar lunch in between! Keep up the excellent content! 👍🙂
Hi Mate, glad you enjoyed it! So you are going over the top and then to the Badger Bar. Nice route, I hope you get the same weather as we got🌞. Thanks for your support😀
Another great video Tony. Did this about 5 years ago from Skelwith Bridge Hotel. Think where you went left at the broken gate fence I went right. As you say, plenty of ways to ascend. Didn't get this weather as one wet owner and drenched cocker spaniel can confirm. Keep the videos coming mate 👍
Hi Nick, Glad you enjoyed it 👍. I know it, handy for a pint if you are at the campsite 🏕️. My first time to do it this way and I loved it! A shame you didn’t get the weather, I got pretty wet the last time up when I was visiting the caves. I hope you catch some good weather soon. Thanks for your support mate ⛰️😁🥾
Lovely path at the start I didn't know about. I notice you had all your followers at the start or were they stalkers😅. We went from a very small car park the other side of Loughrigg Tarn then around it, , up that side, down your route, through your shaded area and back to the car. We had intermittent horizontal rain at the top. Love your drone footage . You got the only sunny day we've had this year😢
Hi mate, it’s a great start pint and probably the only free parking start in Ambleside 😂. I know that car park and it is my plan B is I can’t park where I started. A shame you got rain but beautiful either way. Thanks mate, I was absolutely made up with the weather after what had been a personally tough week 🙏. Thanks for your continued support, enjoy it out there mate 🥾😁⛰️
Hi Tony, Hi Alison, cracking video as always, Loughrigg is a belting fell, some amazing views from the summit. In fact the photp I have on my page banner is taken from Loughrigg. I always say some of the biggest views are from the smallest fells. Unfortunately they tend to be busy, which is the only downside. Haha All the best guys Dave
@@DAoutdoors Thanks mate, we had such a great day for it. You are right, great views out from this rambling fell top. The bottom was crazy busy but we soon lost the DoE people so all good from there. Enjoy it out there 👍🥾 ⛰️
