Kitty had sense enough to give a caller a chance before she politely dumped him.Most of them didn't like the brush off - even when it was done the right way,and got real nasty with her.Chester,was a nerd,who was bitten by the infatuation bug - and Kitty only saw him as a nice friend. Young BARBARA LUNA quickly got his attention in this ep.
These are taken from two episodes...the part with Chester and Soledad was an episode where they were taken captive. Kitty wasn't in that episode. I wish Chester would have gone back for Soledad, she was the one for him. She lived him enough to go back with outlaws.
I always watching gunsmoke and I know my gramps did to on episode when Festus mule died,my granpa remembered escaping execution by Pancho villa on his black beuty or Prieto Acavache and then his horse dying of wounds around mediodia
I hope you enjoy Gunsmoke. I gave up on Bonanza after Pernell Roberts left in a huff. They were not a happy cast and didn't get along with each other, and one of them couldn't act. But the Gunsmoke crew was very professional and everybody liked everybody else. How refreshing!
@Larry Hawkins I concur I prefer Chester. He was so sweet & he was always so helpful to Mr. Dillon. Fetus was ok, but he came off as a little arrogant at times.
Fake video. The first minute of this video is from "Chester's Mail Order Bride." He was perparing to ride out in the country with his mail order bride, not with Miss Kitty. The person who put this video together even faked/dubbed the name Kitty when Chester was talking about going out on the ride. Then the rest of the video was from a different episode, I think an hour long episode from the early 60s. Chester never courted Miss Kitty. He had too much respect for her. This is a fake video of two or three episodes frankensteined together for clickbait.
I*m POSITIVE back then that Chestnut watched many Ep.s and was also embarrassed as to the way the writers portrayed him as So simple . It did get tiresome and annoying at times . . I'm looking forward to Season 9 with the beginning of Festus .
