That call works amazing and so do the rest of these calls but there is one call i found that works is a call made by primos, it is a mouth call it is white with a hard green plastic piece that call sound exactly like a turkey hen. it is called SONIC DOME TRIPLE WITH BAT CUT
Either there`s something wrong with the call or you`re blowing it wrong. I have one and the yelps, cuts, clucks and gobbles sound really good. It`s a lot like playing an instrument like a trumpet, not everyone can do it and some will be able to make it sound good and others will sound like shit. On a side note, I`ve seen several times when a turkey wouldn`t gobble to really good calling but would gobble to really bad calling. Turkeys are strange critters.
Now once you locate then what switch to another call cause if they didn’t gobble to it before how would they answer after or are you just moving in and trying to get them silent
U sure that your doing it right??? I'm not being a smartass bc I have one also. I agree it's not a call that i recommend or even like but it makes decent clucks. Well let me edit this response bc I just dug thru my turkey stuff and found this call. This call is terrible. Haha. I'm not sure if I got it mixed up with another call or what but u are exactly right....It's horrible.
I've had good luck with mine. Use it on windy days. Cutting mostly. I reversed the diaphragm and I inhale instead of blowing.

It's made to imitate a gobble, try saying Tika Tika Tika
It’s made for both cuts and gobbles. Mine sounds the same as this one. The package specifies that it’s to be used as a locator call.
