    Great video in explaining everything. Couple of questions. Did you put concrete inside the pole for more stability? Does it wobble at all when shooting? How would you rate the quality of the background?

    • @1959whitesox
      @1959whitesox  Год назад

      Yes
      I put concrete inside
      The pole

      Quality of your 250 pounds I wouldn’t hang from the rim though lol

    Any way you can provide setback distance from the "court edge"? I'm installing on top of a retaining wall and would like to know how far back i should dig from the edge to ensure ball doesn't hit retaining wall after made baskets. We'll be using at 8' and 10'

    To dig a hole like this you definitely need hole diggers, save yourself the frustration of using a shovel.

    • @1959whitesox
      @1959whitesox  Год назад

      Yep, get a post hole digger used for fence posts

  • @JoshLindsay23
    @JoshLindsay23 Год назад +1

    Did you remove the post while you added the cement or did you leave the post in and then push the post through the cement? The instructions looks like you take the post out while you add the concrete.

    • @1959whitesox
      @1959whitesox  Год назад +1

      I left the post in…..and tried balancing it as best I could until all the cement was in…..then once the cement was in I leveled the post and let sit for 5 days

    How much space behind the pole is needed for the adjustment mechanism? Also, could you attach a cordless drill to it for adjusting instead of the crank adjustment? Thanks.

    Do I put any concrete in the middle? If i leave the pole in the concrete as I pour the bags in how does the concrete secure the plastic piece in the middle?

    • @1959whitesox
      @1959whitesox  Год назад

      I poured concrete down the middle, but be careful to not get concrete in the nut threads for the bolts

    Did you pour cement down the tube also?

    • @1959whitesox
      @1959whitesox  7 месяцев назад

      Yes I did, well down just the bottom post, then after you do that be sure to wash out the bolt holes so cement doesn’t get stuck in the threads
