The holidays have been hard for me since my parents divorced in 2007. I always feel so torn and not really wanted. I feel like my parents created "new families" and I don't really fit in. My mom hasn't hosted a Christmas since I was little, my dad lives over 5 hours away, and he always makes sure to tell my brother and me about things last minute, so it's always too late. Christmas is just one big reminder that my family crumbled apart. Sorry to vent, but like, I felt it when you were talking about not wanting to post your vlog. I couldn't imagine having to film myself while going through it.

I would go get fitted for a running shoe at an actual running store! They have a few tips and tricks (example you’re supposed to go up a half size or a full size because your feet will swell) and they can see which way your foot caves in or out and which shoe is best!! Hope this helps ❤

Hi Maggie!! I’m so excited for your running content! I ran my first marathon last year and it’s my goal this year to run another and qualify for Boston. The qualifying time for my age group in 3:30 so I need to shave some time off my marathon this year hahaha but I’m excited to be following along your run journey!!

Hey, Maggie I know you love feedback on your videos. For the new year, it would be cool to do your OTD in the full frame so we could see everything you're wearing.
You talked about not wanting to buy new clothes every trip this year, I love when you go on your trips with fresh outfits, but I think you should still buy classy pieces that last forever
such as designer bags, etc. I think this year you and Emma alone, should take a nice trip to Turks and Caicos/somewhere warm and have a nice sister bonding moment. As for switching things up maybe try new vintage shops/restaurants around Boston. More information surrounding your new brand. Ik Emma has talked about opening up her own Pilates studio. But what would be cool is if maybe you both open one together, showing the progress and different styles of classes, etc. I loved how you had an in-depth gym segment in this vlog. Cant wait to see what this year brings :)

Also your hair is it a short to long cut straight cut with no layers? I wish I dared to just go outside and run by myself. Did you pay for a personal trainer or is it included in your gym membership? For running shoes, i love the asics GEL-Nimbus 25 or 26 (the 26 just released), or the classic GEL-Kayano 30 if you want a little more stability. The asics Superblast is also amazing for marathons so I hear! Love them so much more than hoka
Just be careful with the continuous change of weather From the cold of Boston to the sauna. Idk looks like it can make you sick. Probably I’m wrong lol but just take vitamins for immune system
college track girly here… i loveeee the lululemon push your pace jacket! as for shoes, i have worn brookes for years and love them! brookes have a wide base and more structure which provides a lot for support. plus they are lightweight and you will feel fast in them lol. if you experience knee, ankle, or hip problems, brookes are for you! but most recently i tried the hoka clifton 9’s and enjoyed those for my 13 mile runs! however, hokas almost have too much support imo. i don’t like to feel like i am sinking into the ground each step. just my 2 cents! excited for you maggie keep working hard!!!

I would highly recommend going to a local running store and getting a consultation from an expert. They will measure your feet and really help you find the right shoe. I live in Boston as well and go to Heartbreak. They have stores in Cambridge, Newton (on heartbreak hill), and in the South End.
Brooks are the best! Ive been running for 3 years now and they are by far my favorite running shoes! Get the glycerin 20 or Ghost 15 ❤️

Some of my favorite running shoes are the On Cloudmonsters, Hoka Bondi, and Saucony Triumph! I would recommend going to a local running store in Boston that does gait analysis. They can match you with shoes that would work best for you based on your pronation/other things! This is good for reducing injury as well!
Also: make sure you switch your shoes every 500 miles/when the treads on the bottom start to go bad. I like to have 2 pairs of shoes that I rotate to prolong their lifespan.

Definitely go to a running store and get fitted for shoes, everyone’s feet are different! Most stores will definitely have Hoka, Brooks, and the other big brands and they have technology to analyze your foot and gait to reduce injury risk. And in my experience, they’re open to if you have favorite brands already too, they can help you chose between all the different Hoka models, etc

I'm here for the running content! You can get your running style analyzed at a running shoe store for free, and they'll tell you what shoes to get to better your running and make custom insoles too. If you go, can you film it for everyone? :)

You should go to a running store and get fitted for a shoe that correct for the way you run and put weight on your feet. I have ran a few half marathons. You also want to get a new pair before the race but break those shoes in a little. Soles on sneakers are only intact for so long. They may look fine from the outside but the sole material does break down.

I feel you with decluttering. sometimes I get such an impulsive urge to declutter and after some time I regret it bc I was just getting rid of things to get rid of things, not bc I really did not need them anymore 🥲
